Just sold my 16GB WiFi for $400 after re-listing it for 2 weeks and ignoring lowballers. Like I said, be patient and the right buyer will come.

Was the 50 bucks really worth 2 weeks of relisting?

I put my iPad 1 64gb, 3g on Craigslist simply to see what I could get. I put a price of $500 and I was shocked at how many people emailed me wanting it for $150-$200 and demanding I lower the price
One guy told me I was morally responsible to sell him the iPad for $200

Yeah, after this experience I'm done with Craigslist. I had a guy offer me $350 for a 64gb 3g in perfect condition. When I replied with a simple, "No" he went aggro and replied, "What you have is ****. You'll be lucky to get $150 for it. You might as well use it as a toilet seat."
So, I sent it to Ebay Instant Sale and had my $525 in hand by the end of the week.
You're selling a 16GB wifi iPad, right? The one in your sig?
I'd say that $350 is a good price. How is that a low ball for a used item that originally cost $499?![]()
I would have told that guy to g+f ouuta here.
That's why I steer clear of Craiglist, and stick with eBay, I usually get from a little to a lot more there than CG, but fees sometimes equalize the profit when the final price is marginal.
How have any of you managed to sell your iPad with all these lowballers on there?
All I am getting is $300-$350 offers, which i just ignore![]()

Unfortunately there are not enough serious buyers on craigslist. The right buyer will come along but it usually takes patience and multiple relistings. i used ebay instant buy and am happy to save the aggravation of reading $250 offers for my 64GB 3G.
A lot of people do not know about the Apple refurb store so you can generally sell for as much or more than Apple is even selling their refurbs for. Apple refurbs are of course a much better deal because of the warranty and the truly like new condition of their items. Don't assume buyers know about sales etc...a lot of people are just going by MSRP. I don't understand why someone bought my old PS3 for more than what a new PS3 slim could be had on Amazon at the same time. Go figure.
Sam's Club is selling the 16gb for $388.00 brand new, so $350 is still high considering the item is used and probably over 6 months old. id be willing to pay slightly above $300 if i wanted to get used, thats just me personally.
With refurbs from store.apple.com going for $349 + a ONE YEAR WARRANTY, I personally would not pay over $275 for a used 16 WiFi.
It is what it is. So rejoice if you have found a sucker to give you $400 for it.![]()
