Starting today, Apple's refreshed M3 iMac and MacBook Pro models with M3 and M3 Pro chips are available for same-day or next-day pickup at Apple Stores, with no pre-order required. Online orders are also beginning to arrive to customers today.

Customers across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and other regions can now place an order on Apple's website or in the Apple Store app and arrange for in-store pickup at a local retail location.

To order a product with Apple Store pickup, add the product to your bag on Apple.com, proceed to checkout, select the "I'll pick it up" option, enter your ZIP code, choose an available Apple Store location, and select a pickup date. Payment is completed online, and a valid government-issued photo ID and the order number may be required upon pickup.

The refreshed 24-inch iMac includes an Apple-designed M3 Arm-based chip that replaces the M1 chip and brings significant speed and efficiency improvements. The iMac with M3 chip is up to 2x faster than the M1 iMac, with support for up to 24GB of unified memory, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. There are no major external design changes to the M3 iMac, which is available in a range of bright colors, including green, blue, pink, silver, orange, yellow, and purple.

The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models can be purchased today with the M3 and M3 Pro chips, while models with the new M3 Max chip won't become available until later in November. The MacBook Pro models have slightly brighter display levels when viewing SDR content, and also include support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Apple offers the MacBook Pro in silver, space gray, and space black aluminum color options, depending on chip configuration.

Pricing for the MacBook Pro starts at $1,599 for the 14-inch model and $2,499 for the 16-inch model, while the iMac starts at $1,299.

Why is the Max not available at launch. Anyone have a technical explanation?

this shall be one of the last great macs... since it's blantantly obvious Apple's sales is going off the cliff... iPhone 15 was a disaster, and they released so many macs in the same freaking year... you knew that it's their tactics trying to salvage something... here comes the dirt cheap low specs Mac just like the windows and chrome books...

Really need 32 inch model. 24 doesn't cut it for me.
If they do make a iMac Pro with 32 inch display, it won't cost less than 6k considering how much the mac studio+proxdr display costs. I am going to wait and see what happens but looks like getting a 32 inch dell monitor + mac mini/studio/mbp might be the only option 😓

Why no M3 Pro/Max chips in iMac?
I don’t think the M3 Pro would be worth it. The M3 Max would require extensive interior mods for additional cooling I would guess. This was a simple update for Apple, kind of lazy if you ask me. Still a nice computer, but they have literally done nothing in 2 years except a chip update. A bit odd honestly.

I’m still butt hurt about Apple limiting Space Black to the real Pro models. 😂 I will admit to being a wanker who doesn’t need Pro power but just love the color. My M1 MBA is more than enough but have always hade a soft spot for black Macs since the early 2000s black MacBook days.

Swap your Air for the Midnight M2 Air…closest to black you’ll get.

Sales are not "off a cliff." iPhone 15 Pro had a few issues, but base models are stellar. Hardly a "disaster," they've sold plenty, and iPhone 15 is really good.

As for releasing a bunch of Macs in one year -- good. More choice, better for users. How is this negative? You can pick up an M3 if you need it, get an M2, or go used and get an M1, all are very good across the desktop and notebook lines.

I’m still blown away that ppl actually buy iMacs w/ 8GB or RAM and 256 GB storage. I know Apple has performed extensive market research confirming a segment of buyers will be satisfied w/ those specs. But damn, still blows me away. I actually wish Apple retail stores and Best Buy would stock maxed out iMacs in limited quantities. Oh well here’s to wishful thinking! 🍺

iMac is a rock solid proof that Tim doesn't want to innovate. You can do so much with iMac. It can be an all-in-one that can also function as external display for Macbooks. When it is idle it can also function as widget-full display for home. It can do so much. Stop ripping off loyal customers with bs gimmicks and make real innovation, Tim.
