Mac App Store Intermittently Down for Some Users

MAS has been working for me but iTMS/Software Update have been nothing but frustration today. Finally got my iPhoto and iMovie updates.
 
I bet Steve's sat there flicking the "on" and "off" switch, laughing at the fact we've all been reduced to excited little children.

Thou shalt not be ashamed of getting over excited for Lion!
 
I'm going to guess that Lion will be available....TOMORROW!

Wasn't working, worked, stopped working, worked, now Featured page wouldn't work. Top Charts and everything else does but on Featured it shows Cannot Connect to Store.

Would you load up the system on the day before launch, or two? Apple's got too much riding on an all App Store release; expect them to be bracing for (tens of millions of people downloading 3.75 GB files) at least 37 Petabytes of file transfer. I'd do a shut down too, just in case! :D

*Source: Google'd how many apple users; back in 2006 Apple had stated 15 Million active users. Golden Master of Lion is 3.74 GB but has no intro movie ;)

Intro movie is about ~20MB.
 
Both stores down here. Just when i was going to scavenge for some cool apps
 
guys its looking like lion WILL release tomorrow lol, with all this mac store being down and all the rumors about lion coming tomorrow its starting to add up.

id be suprised if lion wont come out tomorrow.
 
I know what it is. It's just the spirit of Snow Leopard acting out: he is stomping around Apple's various cyberworlds and exacting a price, at random intervals and places, for his coming demotion :eek: to the tribe of former top cats. Poor kitty! :D

i think apple will load just 10.7.0 everything else can be updated through software update.

unless apple shipping the new MBAs to stores already ...

i do not understand why there is a hold up. (assuming 10.7.0 GM does not have show stoppers)
 
wow it seems down for me aswell now for the first time today, im in NY.

very interesting, this must be happening for a reason..

the mac appstore wouldnt be going up and down for no reason.

im realling thinking lion is getting released tomorrow.

i mean think about it , why would the mac appstore be going up and down and acting up if they are going to release it on thursday.
