Intermittently, I'll get a message saying "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a my problem with "[my email]". I tried following OSXDAILY's steps (http://osxdaily.com/2016/10/23/fix-icloud-unknown-error-cant-connect-problem-mac/) and that temporarily resolved the issue, but it came back earlier today.

Separately, there's an issue where assistantd repeatedly requests to use the login keychain. Once again, I fixed it last night by unlocking that keychain, but it came back again this morning, too.

yeah - had the same thing here - version 10.14 Beta (18A336e) "assistantd wants to use login keychain"

I re booted and it seems to work for now.

Thanks, but no thanks. The arguably bigger issue is that iCloud isn't working on my Mac -- uploading and/or downloading.

EDIT: tried rebooting, but the issue eventually returned.

EDIT 2: I solved the iCloud issue by signing out of iCloud, restarting my Mac, then signing in again.

As of 5 minutes ago, both of the issues I was facing have returned.

Happened to me again too (when I loggd in this morning - reboot eventually fixed it agian - I let it sit for 5 min before trying to use anything iCloud related - everything is working again for now.

I am not putting the password into that pop up - because i tried 3 times and it suddenly locked down my apple iD - which scared the hell out of me - 3 macs, 2 phones and ipads - locked out for a while

luckily I did not have to change my password to a new password, and after logging in on my other MBP all started working again with out a password re entered on Mojave - strange

So rebooting is the only fix?

so far rebooting is the only fix I have found, which involves signing into iCloud each time I reboot.

I did send feedback via "FeedBack Assistant" will see what happens and update here if I get any reply.

My hope (and guess) is that this will be fixed on the next beta update - it is a major issue since it affects everything to do with iCloud

I have also been getting an alert "Unapproved Caller" intermittently which makes a reboot the only option - only happened a few times.

Once I reboot all is good for 6 hours or more and seems to happen when the MBP is in sleep mode for a long time.

seems like the new beta fixed it? ( Knock on Wood?)

Installed Public Beta 18A347e yesterday and have not seen the "assistantd wants to use login keychain" and have not had to login to iCloud
