Well we now wait for this and iLife. Which is supposed to be available today? Maybe just the retail version is available today.

You can download it.

One thing that would be really interesting is a table by product of announce and first receive dates and a similar entry for OS's so we can infer things about future release dates by merely filling in the blanks. It os only sensible Apple wants to release an OS update for "new products" to account for new hardware features.

Conspiracy theory fools

Well, to everyone who believed that iPhoto 2.0 & iMovie 3 would not be downloadable until Wednesday because Apple wants people to buy iLife... guys, stick to conspiracy theories for the X-files. Apple is not trying to rip you off with free downloads. Have some faith in the world.

Now, with the iLife package working with OS X.2.3 I am wondering why they delayed it for a week. I mean, if iLife needed OS X.2.4 and that was made available in the last week I would understand that. I guess something is going on behind the scenes that no rumour site knows about.

Anyway, I hope the OS update is not delayed by too many weeks (days hopefully) and that iTunes gets the MP4 update that we all wish it had already.

No ideas of what x.4 contains?

I hope that it speeds up iPhoto2 somehow because it's just too slow. Maybe the waiting for iPhoto will make me go out and get more ram...

I think the delay to iLife had nothing to do with 10.2.4. Note that the version of iMovie is 3.0.1, so it might be because Apple found a last minute bug on their Gold Master 3.0.0 that they delayed it...

One fix I'm hoping for in 10.2.4 is for the bug in 10.2.3 that causes Powerbook and iBooks to kernel panic on logout.
