The 10.4.5 Intel update is out now as well. Downloading that to my Intellimac, and the other to my PM.

I'm hoping that this will stop safari crashing all the time like it is!

EDIT: I have to restart, see you on the otherside!

Well so far so good, I'm up and running! Normally I'm cautious with software updates, but thought why not!!!

Broken Link  It's not your fault, it's Apple's (since the link in software update is the same one). I'm not installing 'till I find out what it does.

Edit: They fixed it. :)

The link works for me. Give it another try...

Funny... About This Mac reports that I'm running 10.4.5 even before I restarted, even before Software Update is finished...

I like that the updates aren't front page MR news anymore - apparently anyway. They seem like items that are more in the usual course of things, which software update will go and tell you about eventually at any rate. The software forum seems like a more appropriate venue than the front page. I've downloaded to my PM G4 - no issues at this point.

6.4MB?! This must be the smallest OS X point update ever!

Oh well. Safari, Dashboard and Epson printing. I use those three :)

I'm always nervous when a new update comes out. I'll update now and tell what happens.

Just noticed - it's really tiny, only 6.4megs on my iMac.

Wow, this is another thing today I wasn't expecting to see from Apple.

Update - One thing I found interesting was that on my PowerMac and PowerBook it showed up as 10.4.5 PowerPC but on my Xserve's it only showed up as 10.4.5 with out PowerPC...so I guess we won't be seeing Xserve's with Intel chips anytime soon.
