my logitech wireless mouse is still working--have you installed the latest software updates from the logitech website?

I too am having problems with my Logitech MX1000. After update install the application switch button doesn't work(center thumb button). When depressed it will cycle/highlight items on my desktop. I went to Logitech and downloaded the latest control center and installed. Then went to the control center to program the buttons and still no go. Left/right buttons work, scrolling using the wheel works as well as the up/down rocker buttons surrounding the wheel. Thumb buttons will go back/forward on web pages (using SeaMonkey at present) but can't cycle through open applications. Yes, I did a repair permissions. I just can't figure this one out. Any thoughts? Cheers

Ok, an update. I'm also having problems with my Macally ICEkey keyboard. The number pad is inop. I downloaded the latest driver and it still doesn't work. Well, the numbers on the keyboard work but not the number pad. Sooooo, I went back to my Apple keyboard. Guess what, number pad there doesn't work either. Arrrrgh! Anyone else having these problems? Better yet, does anyone have a solution???? Cheers

Another problem i've found is that when i drag files to Photoshop on my dock (while PS is already open), the files won't open. Lame.
Does PS stats if it's not open (but without opening the image)? If so, Adobe has a solution... to that problem, at least...

For the crashing Dashboard and Expose, if if also does that when logged in as another user, I'd start deleting/moving/renaming pref files, like /Library/com.apple.windowserver.plist, ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.windowserver.xxx.plist, ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.plist, ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.client.plist, etc...

my keychain is fbar after 10.4.5 update

My keychain seems to be completely erased after 10.4.5 PPC update. When I try to save items to it now is also will not save them to a new keychain.

I sure wasn't wanting to mess with restoring my system this weekend.

Battery Useage??

I have been noticing that the battery life on my PowerBook G4 (DDR2) has drasticly decreased since I update. I am just curious if anyone else has noticed this problem on their PBs?

Thanks in advance

Your powerbook has ddr2? Was it the last revision made? I'm jealous! As for your battery I noticed a Battery Update in the utilities folder, try that.

It is the newest one, but nothing to be jealous over I would almost rather have the MacBook Pro. I installed a battery update last month, I think, that was for the 15" and this caused my battery life to increase by quite a bit. Now my battery life is much shorter (about an hour and a half total) than it was when I first got the laptop.
