I at-least want tiger on time or I wouldn't have bothered pre ordering on April 13....
anyhow I hope "estimated ship date" becomes on or before April 27

And, if you don't have it on April 29th at 6pm, just go down to the Apple Store or CompUSA; buy it, and then refuse shipment of the delivery.

hold shift+apple+4 & tap the spacebar on the window you want to copy. It'll save it as a PDF on your desktop.
arkmannj said:yes you're right it does say before... I missed that, maybe I just need to simmer down and have a little faith.
oh but as with buying at another store. I got the educational pricing for 2 copies, (69.00 each) so I'll just need to be patient for a day or two until it comes.
I like many others am just really excited for tiger, but also excited cuz I've got a radeon 9800 pro coming & 1GB more ram (maxed at 1.5 in my quicksilver 2002)(may not be big news to folks out there but it's exciting for me!!...) so I got a-lot to be excited about for this week

Mac_Freak said:Well about a month and a half age I went to Apple store here in Soho, Mahattan and when I asked if they gone give edu discounts on Tiger a salesdude replied that thay don't give discounts on software.(
However, I did buy an iPod photo there with discount, so its wierd that give edu discount on hardware but not software. Go figure.
BTW I ordered my Tiger from Apple Store edu section and I am still going to that event at Apple stores![]()
Don't you know? Tiger saves screenshots as .png files now. They are no longer .pdfs.crackrock said:took a picture of the screen?

That's the standard Apple line.
And I can understand it for other software, like iWork, iLife, etc... because when you order it with an edu discount you actually get an "Education Version", which is exactly the same as the retail, just with different naming.
But there is no "Education Version" of an operating system, so I don't see why Apple wouldn't make an exception for that.
Boo.
