April 15th will be where ecverything will be revealed. if there is no info on leopard then, then we re all buggered

I'd hardly say that - if we don't hear anything by the end of April we can safely assume it's going to land at WWDC. I don't think a three-month wait translates to "we're all buggered".

Whoa, wait… just so we're all clear here…

In America spring is from late March to late May. June is summer. 3x4=12. Three month window.

Apple??

What do you guys think. Personally, I feel that Apple is cutting themselves too "thin". I mean, we have a lot of *new* products coming out, Apple TV and the iPhone. Both are very important and "cool". But look at both of them, they both use a "cut down version" of OS X (presumebly Leopard). I personally think that Apple may have taken their own developers who were writing code for the Full version of Leopard for the computers and used them to push out these two products with their "Leopard". Maybe Apple should hire more people, or they need to rethink their software development segment of the company. Apple TV was claimed to be late because of problems with Leopard. I think Apple needs to add more people here!!

Seriously dude? I guess will just assume you were smoking something on this post.:D

What I loved is how 3 months times 4 seasons = 12, but then somehow month 5 minus month 3 suddenly turns into 3.

5 - 3 = 2.

In America, our education system could use some work ;). (Way to go Steve for challenging the teachers' unions!!!)

I don't know, I can agree if some engineers have more than one project they are spreading their time between. If that isn't the case (and I would hope it's not) then I doubt adding more software engineers would make much of a difference. Too many cooks in the kitchen an all that.

Go back a 1000 or 2000 or even more years ago and the ritual gatherings that celebrated the laws of nature, e.g., the real world, was "the system" that taught, and continuously reminded people of such things as the seasons, and other "constants". Yet, today some would consider those societies as being "primitive." Go figure... :p

Hey Dufus, Summer starts June 21. Spring started 5 days ago. March 21. Get it right.

I am banking on this NOT being true...

Why would Apple wait to make 10.5 compatible with Vista, when Microsoft never gave so much regard to its own software package.

I will be extremely p*ssed off if we have to wait for 10.5 because of the latest bag of sh*t OS from Microsoft.

Look vista up in the dictionary...

vista |vist-a|
verb [ trans. ]
make (someone or something) late or slow : the train was delayed. • [ intrans. ] be late or slow; loiter : time being of the essence, they delayed no longer. • postpone or defer (an action) : he may decide to delay the next cut in interest rates.

haha, funny.

Looks like the perfect signature. :)

...well what if...

We've already established the whole idea that Windows isn't worth waiting for, especially when it comes to Vista.
Well..., maybe it is.

Everyone that does any kind of gaming or architectural drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) has to use Windows, period. There is no Mac comparison due to the fact that some of the same people that have monitary interests in these programs have monitary interests in Windows (nice little niche). BootCamp blows only for the fact that your computer has to be restarted in order to switch OS's. Parallels tried to fix this (somewhat). However drafting programs are laggy and gaming (openGL, etc.) is not supported.

I'm sure if our friends at M:apple:c tried something like this with a simultanious OS capability, it would be flawless (well nearly; windows is its own "x" factor).

I'm sure that something of this magnitude might take some work and cause some delay.

Just some food for thought.:D

I was waiting for someone to say that when I was reading people whining about DigiTimes could be right & stuff.
