I mean the publicity noise not other software sales. Plus Apple itself does a 10% off sale on Black Friday. So it would conflict even within Apple for attention.If you mean other software sales, maybe, but I don't think other items of retail would have much effect on the potential sale of Leopard. If anything, it could actually galvanize the "intent to spend" in those who want to get a jump on the holiday season. Besides, they're going to have to compete with others during the shopping rush eventually, so again, I don't think competition on Black Friday would factor in much.
