The "More" sub menu has disappeared. Have folder actions disappeared from Snow Leopard? And do other programs now add directly to the main menu rather than a sub menu like in Leopard?

It shows up when you right click a folder:

I tried to find something new to screenshot, not much left.

Keyboard, Mouse separate in Sys Prefs:

QT10 again :)

Some observations:

- Expose and Spaces are now in Utilities folder
- Directory Utility seems to be missing, as does Directory.
- Install took about 20 mins
- Print driver options in the install include Printers used by this Mac, Nearby and Popular Printers and All Printers. Only a couple hundred MBs instead of 2 GBs as they are downloaded when needed.
- QT still has old icon.

here's a question that might not have an answer yet:
I've got a 2006 MBP that came with tiger, I bought and upgraded to leopard when it came out. If I get the $29 upgrade version of snow leopard will I be able to install it on a fresh blank drive(I need an upgrade to my 120gb one soon), or will I need to install leopard first then the snow leopard upgrade disk?

how much will it cost for those own tiger?

and if it costs 29 for leopard uses, do i have to take the box to the store or receipt as proof? if someone could clarify this for me, i'd be grateful.

InkMaster has a good 40 photo set of more screenshots of 10A380 here
Blue more 10.6 like Auraura background here also from this thread.

$499, and you get the Server edition...

One for those with 10A380 - What *isn't* tablet multitouch finger use friendly? How close is Apple to making it possible to pretty much bring out the tablet (in September/ with Jobs' return)?

Edit -
AppleInsider linking to the 10A380 shots - wonder how long they'll last...

then what's stopping tiger users from buying the $29 upgrade and installing it on a fresh blank drive?
I'm sure Apple isn't that worried about it if a loophole is found. After all, how many intel Tiger users are out there? It's not a large percentage of the overall Mac OS X user base. PPC Tiger users can't upgrade period (without buying a new Mac), and Leopard has been shipping on Macs for over a year and a half. The only ones left are the Intel users who bought between early 2006 and late 2007 (~20 month timeframe) who haven't already upgraded to Leopard.

It's not going to be an issue to them.

Good point.

Because the Install DVD will check your Hard Disk for 10.5 or 10.6, much like the 10.5 Drop-in DVD does.

If you have 10.5 installed, and you boot from the 10.6 DVD, it sees you're running 10.5 and gives you the normal options: Upgrade, Archive or Erase.

If you have 10.6 installed, and you boot from the 10.6 DVD, it sees you're running 10.6 and gives you two options: Archive or Erase.

Honestly, I do not think for average Mac user, this 10.6 will be any different from 10.5 except for a few changes like Exchange, Stacks, Dock Expose and a barely noticeable speed increase. If somebody upgraded my Mac to 10.6. without me knowing, i wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I honestly don't think this deserve to be called 10.6. More like 10.5 R2.

This is true ONLY if QuickTime Player isn't in your Dock ;)
