Im torn between this mac air 11 or rMB... Im returning my air11 2015 i5/128/8gb... Planning to bootcamp it to win10 so im getting 256gb ssd instead...
Wheneven i see rMB in jealous of th ssd display haha...
I use it mainly for playing ragnarok , photoshop and lightroom when im in the office.. Ill carry it everyday so looking for a lighter weight...
Do u think rMB can handle wine and ragnarok game?

Well I'm looking to get some good apps for my rMB so any suggestions are welcome

macbook air you get more bang for your buck.

Have you owned both?

The screen difference is such a night and day difference, especially going from using each for long periods of time.

In terms of the processor - everything I've done on my 11" air I could do just as well on my rMB...mostly word processing, essential anatomy app, annotating large PDFs, Sibelius to write scores..I'm usually at high 80% to low 90% system idle when i have all those programs active and am browsing the web.

The usb dongle is $20, and it's been all I need..I just keep it in a pocket of the sleeve.

Even having to use the dongle for the rare times I need to use USB (cloud storage is much easier for me) - the experience on the rMB is leaps and bounds better than the 11"..

Actually Apple is the one who gets more "bang" with the Air, as their margin on this NoteBook is almost double of the typical portable Mac. Personally I prefer the majority of my $$$$ to go into the hardware, rather than Apple`s coffers.

Most negative aspect of the Air is the poor quality TN display panel, anyone planning to use a Notebook for prolonged periods, and or critical colour should definitely look to one of the IPS Retina`s. The Air`s display was mediocre at launch nor has it gotten any better over time.
