It’s got the MacBook Air wedge design, so it’s a MacBook Air in my opinion. Not a bad update to be honest, Retina display and Touch ID are not bad updates.

It’s got the MacBook Air wedge design, so it’s a MacBook Air in my opinion. Not a bad update to be honest, Retina display and Touch ID are not bad updates.
It wouldn't (just too wide) - a 13.3" screen is 11.28 inches by 7.05 inches - the MB's footprint is 11.04 inches by 7.74 inches.
the wedge design the 12" MB has it since 2015...the cpu i5 dual core U series is just a little bit better, no i7
Same display design, as the MB or MBP, same butterfly keyboard, same usbC....so it is just a bigger MB brother ...just 1 another usbC port like many from here asked for, but apple wants to make the line up more confusing....
They should just erase the old macbook air, lower the price of the 12" MB at 1000$, so have 12 and 13" MB and 13" and 15" MBP
