Hello everyone. I have a problem with matrix in my old macbook. For this moment I have two of them (one, from 2006 macbook 1.1 installed, one, from late 2007 macbook removed from other macbook). History started from a faulty inverter cable that I've changed some time ago. After installation I found out that matrix from 2007 macbook don't work (after powering on backlight flashes for a split second but after this there is no backlight) So I removed matrix from my older macbook (2006 one) and It worked like a charm. This older matrix is still working but (probably because of age) it started malfunctioning - there are some brighter points on it, just like when there is water between backlight and lcd itself. I've checked it out, but it is not water (macbook never had any contact wit anything wet). I want to change it now but I don't know if new matrix will work because of problem with the other (2007 macbook) one. Can somone help?
Thanks
