Trust me, we are getting a new MacBook Air. Yes it will be a new MacBook Air.

Whether it replaces the 12 inch rMB or not, I don't know but it will be a MBA with 2USBxC ports.

This is a joke right?

Hard to remove battery? really?

You like paying $300+ for a battery removal instead of $90? Sounds good
[doublepost=1540906156][/doublepost]And there are complaints about the 2018 MBP keyboards. Just the membrane only delays the inevitable.

I've got 2 T2 based Mac (iMP and 13" MBP) and zero issues with the T2 on either. In fact, both have been rock solid. I also have no issues with the new keyboard. BTW, Anyone who says that the pre-butterfly Mac keyboard was the best on a laptop has very obviously never used a Thinkpad. The T and X series still set the bar for laptops. Unfortunately I hate 16x9 screens, and can't work effectively without Spotlight, Quicklook and other core OSX features that Windows still doesn't get right, and lord knows I tried having tried several Surfaces, XPS's, HP's, and the X1Carbon, though the X1 get awful damn close!

MRW no ports nor classic keyboard

I'm sure it is going to be dual core at best. Apple loves their market segmentation.

Will be strange for them not to offer an upgrade to the i7 Whiskey Lake... This would mean that these would be slower than the old 8th gen Kabylake R that Window competitors have been using forever.

They said dual core i5 but with 2133MhZ Memory. When I look at Amber Lake, it only supports 1833MHz. Whiskey lake does support 2133, but has 4 cores at least. So what?

There is a dual core option for Whiskeylake, as well as quad core.
