I get it. I decided decades ago that each new type of laptop gets a sleeve from them, it’s part of the cost.

How are you liking it?

GMT II is a classic design from a good (and these days over-hyped) manufacturer.

Just to update: I went with the SFBags SleeveCase (This One) in horizontal and black with a strap.

In case you were asking about the case - it is exactly what I wanted. Fits the MBA really well with good thickness of material around it. The small but of storage on the side isn't enough room to carry the charing brick but you can slip a few cables in without issue.

Hey, see this from Etsy. I like the color. It's made from truck tarp. Different colors are available. They are manufactured in Amsterdam. And no, you can not smoke them. But you can charge it while in the case.

I've ordered one of these " HYZUO 13 Inch Laptop Sleeve Case Compatible with MacBook Air 13 M2 / A2681 " in the landscape design, and wanted to share due to the number of colours and good value.

People seem really happy in the reviews, should you be looking for a cheaper alternative. Happy to post pictures when mine and my Mac arrive today!

I received my >£20 Hyzuo case, and I’m really pleased with it. It’s more of a suede material in feel with a traditional felt-like lining. It has Lots of magnets rather than the two dots on many of the cheap sleeves.

Fit
It fits the M2 MacBook Air great. Other cases I have seen users complain were too big for the new design whereas this provides the security that it will not fall out, whilst not being so tight that I have issues removing it. The magnets are plentiful and just the right strength.

Rich Colours
The colour is one of those where my iPhone doesn’t quite capture how it appears to the eye. It is more of a deeper Amber colour. There are also the traditional colours (blues, greys, black, brown) but I fancied something different this time.

My only minor negative was the case came with that glue smell which I am not a massive fan of. I propped it open and sat with it airing outside, and all seems to be fine now.

Thanks for the review. This is probably closest to what I am looking for.

I like that it appears to be free of animal materials.

No problem! You can see the magnets were important to me putting it twice... As for solving the negative, I've sprayed the inside of it with febreeze which got rid of most of the glue smell. It is quite strong when you first open it up but airing it does the world of good.

I ordered the Mission Leather MBP case in Desert. Since it's made here locally by me in Dallas it just made sense. Never knew the company existed so thanks to those who posted about them here.

Sorry I know this is the MBA thread bus I decided on the MBP and wanted to show thanks where I saw the case listed.

While expensive, these look great. Thanks for sharing the link

I have a “grams 28” one and a Louis Vuitton case (for when I’m going to see clients) the grams 28 is spectacular craftsmanship/design for the money with tons of pockets all wrapped in premium leather. I may order a phone case for my incoming 14 pro.

Waterfield Designs sleeve has good workmanship and materials.

I want the yellow one but they have been sold out for a while. Darn.....

The m2 air fits in like a glove. Very nicely padded inside.
Do you have the grey or black one? Asking because the photos seem to illustrate different linings inside and am wondering if one fits the M2 better than the other. Thanks!
