1. Which MacBook Air do you have?
MacBook Air 13" 2011 128GB

2. Is the Air your main computer? Do you use it along with an external monitor, another computer(s), iPad or ?
My main is a 27" iMac mid 2010

3. Use a sleeve, skin, speck case? What kind of bag or backpack have you found suitable for the Air's?
I think i'm gonna have my mom make me a felt sleeve so it doesnt scratch in the backpack, and i have the STM Alley backpack.

I have a 13 inch MBA Ultimate.

I don't use an external monitor but do still use a 17 inch MBP and an iPad, both of which I had when I got the MBA last October.

I have both a Marware Sportfolio Deluxe bag for the MBA and an Incipio sleeve.

Just like you I have a 13 inch MBA ultimate + 17 inch' matte MBP ultimate.

I have a hard graft 2UN-FOLD bag...:D

I've had my air for a couple of days now and love it.

1. 11in Macbook Air 2011 128GB i5 4GB
2. It's my primary computer. It's replacing my iPad and mac mini to be a single device. I'm using it with a 27in ACD at home/office along with wireless keyboard/mouse.
3. Currently I'm using a 10in Tucano sleeve case. It fits the air just. I'm waiting on my Maxpedition Sitka to arrive from the US

Nice setup! I'd prefer to have the magic trackpad though

2011 MBA 13 i5 Ultimate

Primary computer, I also have an M11x for games. I use a 500GB external HDD for backup & media storage

I use an Incase sleeve.

Funny you should say that, I got a magic trackpad with the mba. However I'm not sure on it yet. I couldn't give up my mouse. I might run it along side the keyboard for a week and see how much I use it.

1. 2011 MBA 11' ultimate for use on the road

2. I have my 2011 imac 27' at home for heavy use + 1TB WD portable HD to store my original movies + photos + musics. Have an Ipad 1 but barely use it since I got my air (first air) and KSO.

3. Use a Number 8 sleeves for my MBA. It is well built and could perfectly protect your MBA. Also the front pocket would easily fit your charger (w/o the extension cord).

My model type is in my signature.

This is my main machine.

I use a simple tarsus slip as I don't take my mac to work etc.

I use my 13" MBA Ultimate as my main machine both at work and at home. At work I use it in a dual external monitor setup with a 24" ACD and a 23" Samsung 1080P monitor.

I carry the MBA around in a Waterfield Design sleevecase, to and from work in a slim Incase backpack.

How do you hook up the two monitors (hardware)? USB?

1. 13" MBA 256 SSH

2. It is used as my main computer, as I sold my previous 2009 13" Macbook Pro to purchase it. I have a Mac Mini which is hooked up to an HDTV, but it is mainly used to rip and watch dvds.

3. I have an incase sleeve that I carried the MacBook Pro in when I took it to class. The 13" Macbook Air fits snug inside it as well. I'll throw it into my Northface Backpack with a few books if needed and walk on to class.

1) 2011 MBA 13" i5/4GB/128SSD

2) This is my main (and only) computer as it replaced an almost 7 year old 15" Toshiba laptop that was held together partly with duct tape.

3) I bought a 13" Knomo brown leather sleeve from the Apple store the day I got the computer and recently ordered a brown leather Kenneth Cole messenger bag as I take this computer to work with me everyday.

MacBook Air 11" 2011 128GB

My main machine. Bought a Dell u2311h to compliment it as a dual screen set up. absolutely love the extra real-estate, but i still take the mba 11" to the couch for casual use.

3. Use a sleeve, skin, speck case? What kind of bag or backpack have you found suitable for the Air's?

I use the incase sleeve. it covers the mba completely (a little slit leaves a tiny bit of exposure, but does a better job than other sleeves that leave one whole side exposed).

Home/Work Setup

1. 11" Ultimate 2011

2. Main PC is at work and is a 2011 27" iMac with a 23" Ultrasharp in portrait mode for document viewing. At home I have a Dell 30" to use with my MBA. However once my TB Display arrives this week I'll take the iMac home to use with the 30" and leave the MBA and TB display at work. I have an USB DVI adaptor but I doubt I'll use it for the 23". Will post pics when TB display arrives.

3. MBA was completely barebacked till now. Just bought a green STM Scout XS. Hope it is big enough for most of my day to day stuff. Almost thinking the Scout S might have been better?

1) 13" 2011 Ultimate

2) The air is not my "main" computer. I do most of my development on the Air but I still have to use a custom built pc for most of my graphics programming. I need CUDA and I have two GTX 580's in SLI. If the Mac Pro was (natively) capable of doing dual 580's in SLI then I'd switch in a heart beat but as it is the Mac Pro isn't powerful enough. (And I'm speaking solely GPU wise.)

3) Nothing really special. I found a 13" sleeve at Target for $9 and it does the job just fine.

1. 11'' 2011 128SSD / 4GB

2. Primary development machine, 500 GB Toshiba external for backups / Lightroom catalog / music

3. I have one of those Roo sleeves with the pouch but I'm probably going to grab a Speck Pixel sleeve since anytime I need my AC I'll also have my messenger bag as well.

-

1. MBA 13" with 256 SSD and i7

2. Its my main computer and I use it with a BenQ M2400HD as an external monitor. It is even conntected to my 42" FullHD and I watch 1080p movies on it etc.

3. I just ordered a ColcaSac Hanakapiai for my 13" MBA and I have a Burton Backpack + Aunts & Uncles bag, both with a laptop folder in it.

I have a base 13" MBA and use it as my main computer.

I occasionally hook it up to a 40" 1080p LCD for movies, with a wireless keyboard and trackpad.

I use a neoprene/memory foam case I bought off eBay for £5.

MacBook Air 13 inch, 2010 model, ultimate
Use it for work and light gaming, more gaming done on iPad 2
Use my backpack for carrying, and another $5 case around it (it was cheap, but was great)

2011 11inch MBA with 4GB RAM and 128GB HD. - Main machine, connected to a 27in Cinema display when at home. However, I have a 2011 Mini serving as vm server and holding my iTunes empire.

The Air is used for VMware, network administration and design, traditional web surfing, light gaming, and document creation. I keep an iPad2 around as well for reading late at night or checking the health of my client systems.

I keep it in an Incase sleeve (zipper) and carry it around in a Booq Mamba vertical saddlebag (I wish they made a traditional sling pack). I can place it and my iPad in the bag and barely feel anything.

I have the Base Macbook Air (2/64) for my portable / around the house.

My Desktop settup: Athlon 2 x 4 core @ 3.4ghz, 6gb DDR3 RAM, and A Geforce 560ti

no sleeve. I have a laptop backpack, though i bought it 5 years ago when i had a 16" laptop. the bag weighs more than the Air. I'm in the market for soemthing smaller now. a tote / messenger bag prefferably
