I bought the STM Medium Cargo, and I'm loving the hell out of it. The 15 inch sleeve fits the (13.3 inch) MacBook nicely on the horizontal, with just a little bit of vertical play. Still, it strikes me as being more than snug enough. Also put my power adapters, digital camera + cable, and sketchpad in there. Weighs a bit, but looks nice and is built very well.

Great looking bag, is it large?

just got a Brenthaven

I'm typing this on my Macbook while it sits safely in it's new Brenthaven Edge I case:)
http://brenthaven.com/catalog-edge-i-black.html

I wanted a case that would give the most protection without being too large and that I could keep on my macbook for quick protected use. This case is very well made, professional looking, with a good handle and shoulder strap and pockets for paperwork and small accessories.

Glad I made this choice!

Crumpler

Has anyone tried a macbook in one of the crumpler Mcbain baby style bags?

I've got a Foofbag on the way, and i'm going to get an Eastpak Provider (or similar) backpack to carry it around in :)

I dunno, the Foofbag looks extremely feminine.

It looks like some lame trend, like ugg boots or something. Everyone will buy one, but in a yr it will be blah.

stm small alley, external dimensions?

Hi All, I'm new to these forums, since I got my white macbook last week I've been scouring the forums for info on all things mac related!

I'm particuarly interested in these 'bag' topics as I'm trying to decide what to get for my macbook, I already have a normal laptop bag which I got for my old laptop (which I sold to fund my macbook purchase!) but it's a bit too bulky and looks a bit crappy for my shiny white mac.

I've almost settled on a combination of a STM sleeve and a STM small alley bag, has anyone got one of these small alley bags and if so could they let me know the external dimensions as I want something as small and lightweight as possible.

I've ordered the STM 12" iBook sleeve and I'm just hoping it will fit my 13.3" macbook:confused: I'll let you know if it does when I get it.

(Ps, Just got a BT510 bluetooth optical mouse from ebay for about £35 and I'm quite happy, it's white which looks great next to my macbook and doesn't need any bluetooth 'dongle' if you have built in bluetooth, cursor movement is a little jumpy but I'm going to try the new drivers and see if this helps)

Figured I'd bring back an older thread to say I got my Bitolithic case in the mail the other day and it's great. Highly recommended, it was exactly what I was looking for.

its such an amazing trend since its so widely avaliable......do we really care since 2% of the market is mac users and probably only max! 20% of us are going to get them? gee i am expecting to see one right around the corner any day now! and i don't particularly think its feminine. i have a tweed one, which i believe (and correct me if i am wrong) is a traditionally male 'suiting' fabric...

i think the foofbag only suits certain people because it doesn't offer much protection. however, i did turn it upside down to shake the computer out and the whole 'you have to squeeze thing worked' so i guess its all good.

now which is more common- a foof bag, a computer bag or one of those snazzy neoprene bags?

I have an STM Small Loft that's supposed to fit a 12" PowerBook or MacBook. However, it fits my MacBook snugly........much better than the fit I got with my 12" PB. So weird. Anyway, it's a decent bag and I've gotten compliments from an artist friend of mine for it. She has good taste. :)

EDIT TO ADD: Don't buy new sleeves online yet. If it was made for a 12" PB or a 14" iBook or something, it wasn't made for your 13.3" widescreen MB. Just because it says it "fits" doesn't mean it's snug and fits well. ;)

My STM Small Loft, which I'm sure is similar to the Small Alley, is a perfect fit, but that just means it wasn't really meant to fit a 12" PB. I don't know why they advertised that it would, but it fits my 13" MB much better, IMO. I'm still waiting for a proper sleeve, and not one that "fits." I've tried the STM sleeves and they're not perfect. Just wait a month. They'll be out.

Does that not cause heat issues?? I've seen this particular case in the Apple store and it does seem quite deep. I also read somewhere that the Brenthaven cases cause the Macbook to be scratched when opening and closing the zip. Is this true?

Anyone know where can I get InCase bag for the MacBook 13.3"

I live in Thailand, any online store offer a worldwide delivery?
My friend got it from Apple Store 2 weeks ago, I like it.

wait so incases already has 13.3 cases avaliable, most places say they will be coming out soon?

Anyone in the states see them yet?

be.ez in the US?

Does anyone know how someone in the US could get a be.ez macbook case? I couldn't find one anywhere (including ebay). Have they even been released yet?

I hope this helps

Hey, I bought the case from www.macbook-case.com.
Here is the picture of it.

I love it! You gotta see it for yourself. No Doubt!
I bought this to protect my Mac, but I got impressed by look. It looks plain if you compare it with other brand, but because of the simple design, it doesn't ruin the Apple design and looks fantastic!
