Hi, welcome to wonderful world of international trade.

If there is an release on the Apple Store (online one mind you) the store will go down at about 11pm - midnight EST with the store coming back online around 1am to 2am.

Don't even pay any attention to our resellers, they will get products when they begin to ship to everybody else.

The life of an Aussie MacAddict is a very early, insomnia inducing life.

San Francisco time is about 1:30AM now...so assuming about 5:30AM SF for change thats 4 hours (or more) so 10:30/11PM EST 😉

Yep, you're right, store goes down around 6am Cupertino time, sometimes 7am, then it comes back up between 1 and two hours later.

That's 11pm to 12am our time for the store to go kaput, then sometime early morning (has been as late as 2am) for the store to come back up again. In summer it's even later cause daylight saving means we're another two hours ahead.

where'd you figure that one out? nothing's going to be introduced at 5:30 a.m. SF time...more like 10:00 or 11:00 s.f. time...

It is more than likely going to be done EST if it is a straight forward website release. By releasing it SF time they would miss a day's press in the east and they don't do that.

Nah, it's always been earlier than that in the past. Everything that's been released without an event has been released around 1am my time which is around 8am Cupertino time.

8am possibly, but certainly not 5:30...

alright, time for me to go to bed...with visions of MB dancing in my head...

No, 5:30am is the earliest I've seen the store go down, not the product introduced.

Well when they do a store update its, as has been said, around 6am SF time to allow the store to be up for selling as early as possible. Unless they plan a suprise press conference, thats the time it will be update - at least hats my experience over the last 2 years...

What time would the store be going down in the UK? around 11am?

From what I remember, it goes down about 1.30pm, though I think there have been occasions where it has gone down earlier.

Anybody down near Regent Street been by the store looking for clues?

If they do go on sale in London, any thoughts on what time they might have them ready to buy at the Apple Store?

I've got a feeling that we are waiting until Thursday. Jobs thinks he is too important to allow the MB to be released without his being visible at the christening.

Most like every 30 seconds!!! haha. It'll happen eventually...I have a buddy who works at the Apple Store at the Grove here in California who says they've been hearing ruuuuuuumors...

Come on peeps. your only going to end up dissapointed. There's a slim chance steve could announce it thursday, but the chance of it appearing today are remote....

the rumors of delays because they want to bolster stock 🙄 Apple could have announced it the same as the macbookpro - shipping in 3-4 weeks. Why would they suddenly change policy?

Just dont get your hopes up and you wont be dissapointed, and then if it does arrive sometime soon, it'll be a nice surprise.....

That's what I keep telling myself as I'm pressing the refresh button in safari. Damn I'm a hypocrite 😛 😀 😀 😀 😀

how many people have got the Apple Store open in a tab and keep pressing F5 every 5 minutes?

F5? why would i want to keep turning the volume up of those stupid "get a mac" ads? 😉

Sorry yeah 😀, I'm stuck on a windows machine, but at least i'm using Firefox.

I was planning on buying a MacBook on release, but the weather had different plans over the weekend and damaged my roof. So the money i had saved up will be ploughed into the repair of the roof. 🙁 😡

Still excited tho to see what they look like and there specs, even if i can't have one now. 🙁 🙂
