i have a 2010 13 inch macbook pro (2.4ghz)
upgraded the hdd myself to WD scorpio blue 750gb (9.5mm)
about to upgrade the hdd to 1TB (9.5mm) and ram to 8GB ram soon

no problems, excellent battery, good size, the only thing i dont like about it is the screen resolution, 1280x800 is a bit sad in my opinion, these days even 13 inch laptops should have at least 1400 resolution imo

if the next update of mbp 13 inch has higher resolution then im going for the 13 inch again, otherwise i am thinking of going to 15 inch + matte screen upgrade just for the resolution

I'm having a very strange issue with a new MBP 13'. Plugging in my external monitor via DVI to HDMI causes my wifi speed to drop in with one monitor, and the second monitor it kills my data transmission all together! I'm thinking it's possible that the shared graphic card causes less power to the airport card while driving an external. Can anyone confirm if they have a similar problem, and please state if they are using MD to HDMI or MD to DVI, thank you!

oh absolutely. you're going from 1280x800 to 1680x1050. but you also pay a premium for that upgrade.

No doubt the 13" MBP is nice, in fact very nice, but but since I do quite a bit of Web Development (what I do for a living), Photo Editing and Garage Band work with a little Video Editing. I think I would be much happier with the 15" MBP High-Res and should probably just save up the additional $$$ to get one.
