Where do you live? I ordered mine around the same time, same config.
 
Finally got my "Preparing for Shipment" I ordered 1:31pm EST on the 12th. I did the base model with 16GB

That seems likely to me. 3-4 week orders outside of the US are already moving and the June 12th are moving fast. This weekend should be great.

June 12th needs to move faster :'( Its been about 49 hours since "Preparing for Shipment"
 
Any other 2.7/16/768s from the 11th gone to preparing?, mine is still stuck in processing with 2-3 weeks
 
So apperantly my MPR is on that FDX28 flight. Its just landed in Alaska. I been tracking the flight and the scan times and flightaware are pretty close. Will it stay on that plane or will it get switched to another one? Can one of you fellow tracker savy guys help me out?

Should switch since their planes usually go in fixed routes.

My guess is that there are probably quite a few orders on 6/12 and 6/13. Certainly not as many as 6/11 but a lot. The only reason I ordered when I did (9a est 6/12...preparing now) was that I expected there to be another run of orders later day if the stores didn't have enough to meet demand, and they didn't, and it didnt improve on the 13th either. As long as its taken to get through the late hours of 6/11 and the first few of 6/12, for US orders I'm betting its going to be awhile yet.

However from the backwards way you write dates :))) I suspect your order is outside the US which seems to have its own unrelated and much shorter queue.

OK, If indeed it was on FDX28 then it should head towards Memphis in a few hours. Hopefully from Memphis a flight to Greensboro tomorrow and then a short truck ride to Raleigh tomorrow night with delivery to my house by 10:30 AM Friday!
 
Ha ! and remember...my email was 1pm CDT so you were 9 hours behind me...my prepping came this morning at about 5am....yours just came...about 9 hours later !!!

It will stay on that plane and go to Memphis due in about 1am central.

Then they will unload it and at some point put it on a plane to an airport closer to you. Depending where that is it might not be tonight.

Ok. Seems about right. I live in Las Vegas. Fedex gave me a estimated delivery time of June 29th at 10:30 am

Not sure why you think a truck is needed.

FDX1449 leaves Memphis for Raleigh every morning at 3:15.
(fdx785 is currently making the same trip)

The Fedex hub at GSO isn't running like anything other than a normal fedex airport
UPS has a ground hub there but its not significant to Fedex yet.
