Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I ordered on the 13th then changed the order on the 14th for a bigger hard drive for 512/16. said 3-4 weeks and July 12-18. But it shipped Monday and arrives tomorrow. Is that lucky?
 
So after updating my order to have my new card, there was some problem with the order, so I called the number it emailed me. I think I understand how the order process works with apple now. Preparing means that your in line for the product. They will put a hold on the card towards the end of this stage. Then you will move onto preparing for shipment, this is when they are building and pagackaging the computer. Then, on to the the shipping stage, this is when they charge your card.

I was able to get more information about my order, still processing, card has hold on money, estimated delivery is the 7/2. I have a 6/12 12:00 pm EDT order, they just expedited the shipping for me for free because someone at apple did something weird to my order at apple.
 
Order just changed to preparing for shipment. Hopefully I am lucky and get it friday, I really don't want to wait until monday.

2.3/16gb/256gb/tb to ethernet ordered 6/12 12:00EDT

I updated my record on the new spreadsheet, someone deleted the top 4 rows with directions. It looked like the ones on the permanent page explained everything so I copied that over. Also, to those moving the data over, my supper drive and Ethernet answers were missed.

On a side note, my free superdrive shipped from Ontario, CA. I thought it was Canada but I just realized that it is in California.
 
I cannot explain how I got the SuperDrive because of an agreement with an active member of this thread said not to say anything... However with the TV it had to do with a 23$ charge a customer service rep put on my account for a guaranteed 1 day delivery... My order was processing beyond the date of the original expected ship date. I'll go into more detail later but it has to do with my 1 day shipping upgrade changing my est. delivery date by one day with a week gap in between.

hey /dev/toaster looks like my rMPB shared a ride out of china with yours. I thought I was on the flight to memphis this morning before I left for work but I guess I was wrong.

Anyway my current fedex info is: Jun 27, 2012 4:09 PM | Departed FedEx location| ANCHORAGE, AK. I live in NJ and I'm hoping my mac is on FedEx 92 bound for newark. The times match up from from my fedex tracking to the flightstats site. I'm just hoping it's not still stuck in AK...My expected delivery is Friday 10:30am but I hoping it lands in NJ tonight and goes out tomorrow for delivery :p

Any chance that macs on are Fedex 92?

Does anyone know how long it goes from "Preparing for Shipment" before it goes to "Shipped" on average?

I had an estimated date of 9/7/12 (9th July) and it went to Prep today. I ordered 2.3 with upgraded Ram though. Maybe they're making my machine!:D

I've updated my details on the Input page of the spreadsheet, not sure if I did it correctly though

Pretty sure it's random based on when your machine is done being built and whether it's the "first on the plane or last on the plane" kind of thing. I know ppl here have said their's only took less than 2 hours but personally mine took 12+ hours. I was refreshing all day...

I can now verify they do offer superdrives. Not sure if everyone else got it the same way I did.

OMG my macbook pro is held hostage at DHL distribution center for like a day already! Its like 30min away from my home but DHL won't release it until tomorrow. I called them and they gave me some poopoo that they cant deliver it today because its still processing or something.

Its just 30min away from my home and I need to wait another day for that! This is going to be the longest day of my life

at least yours shipped out.. i've been waiting all week for this to process, like you were the last jun 11th, i think i'm the last jun 12th. :p

Ah good catch. My spelling is terrible :D RAM is on there, its just listed as memory. I suppose RAM would be a little more obvious, i'll fix it in next update.
