Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Wow, they are definitely #*@&ing with me. Mine is STILL preparing for shipment - while few others entered this stage later and has already gotten shipped.
 
Well my order from around 1pm EST on the 14th has gone into preparing for shipment... Hopefully it doesn't get stuck there. But Its getting somewhere.

Just called Apple (Netherlands) to see if they can speed up my shipping. Nothing, nada, nil. They can't do anything at all to get it here faster. They also didn't offer any accessories to comfort the wait :p
Guess expedited shipping is only for the USA.

Checked status this morning and finally changed to preparing for shipping!!!!!
Ordered June 13th around 4 pm. Est delivery Jul 11 - Jul 17 via 2-3 Business Days. 2.6/16/512
Finally the wait is over.... but now beings another one :)
 
Okay. Longtime Lurker, first time poster.

Ordered 06/12 4PM CST (Minneapolis)
2.3/16GB/256
Went to Preparing yesterday at 7:30am
Went to Shipped last night around 1:30am (yay!)

I think I'm on the FEDEX flight 28 with several other folks.

But I'm confused, when I go to flightaware it says the flight status is "scheduled", as if the flight hasn't even taken off yet.

Others have posted links to http://www.flightradar24.com/FDX28
which shows a flight that's taken off from Narita, Japan, gone across Japan and then returned back. Is that our flight? Is it yet to even arrive in Shanghai?

Also, oh-no, is there something wrong and that's why it's returning to Narita, Japan?

I know this is ridiculous. My obsession is taking over as I get closer to owning my rMBP. :)

P.S. Sorry to the folks who are stuck in Preparing. I hope you get good news soon!

its torture to watch others get change to prep for shipping before me. I ordered on the 12th...:mad::(

I did the same thing. I'd check my order status inside the Apple Store iPhone App at least once an hour, and then once it shipped, I'd chronically checked the shipment progress. :eek:

Looks like the 13/6 orders are slowly coming through now. Hopefully they can blast through the 13/6, so 14/6 and 15/6 can be done rapidly, assuming the figures of our spreadsheet are close to the actual orders. Would be rather nice to see my order finally change to preparing/shipped by Friday next week, and then for it to arrive by the Monday haha.

Mine scheduled for Fri im pretty sure it was on fdx 28 looks like its still sitting in alaska for 18 hours or so :mad:

can go either way no rule as far as i can tell it probably depends on flight times etc...

me being shocked is an understatement. we order a ton of apple gear, but the last few product refreshes we have never been bumped to the front of the line.. ipad 2's took months, macbook air 2nd gens took weeks. this is unprecedented.

wtfs. My rMBP just went from preparing for shipment to shipped. Only it took almost 72 hours to switch over. Now look at this.

Interestingly it looks like it's coming from within the United States, rather than from China.

Strange.
