Seems like they did scan everything but it's on it's way to Memphsis in 50 minutes, which is about right but hopefully it can get distributed to me instead of sitting there over the weekend.
 
Never saw so bad carrier service...TNT is the worst I haver had!!

Its stuck like this for the past 57h and no updates or RMBP at my door! :confused:

Been using the new machine all day and I tell ya, some things look like real crap. For example, the twitter client looks very blurry and kinda gives you a headache if you look at it too long.

Hopefully more apps update to Retina. It is also going to be very interesting to see when and how long it takes for websites to have Retina images. Currently apple.com front page has Retina images, but the store doesn't. Side by side its a huge difference.
 
This is my thinking also. I'm pretty sure that when FDX28 flies, it will be flying with my retina on it. If all goes well, from past experience, I feel there is a good chance to get from Memphis to New Orleans and to my door tomorrow. I've seen it done in the past with cameras that I have ordered.

One or the other of those are definately continuation of other flights from Asia, the other might just be the normal AK->lower48 freight flight.

Theres really no reason for the cargo off FDX28 to be unloaded (unless customs wants to look at it), theres probably not much room on the other planes anywya.

You could end up waiting a long time, given that there's no one standard for determining what a "high resolution" device is. Even the JavaScript approach for serving high resolution images sucks. (Yes, you can just serve a high resolution image and use height and width attributes, but that burns bandwidth when a non-HiDPI user is connected, and hurts their performance.)

Ya, its gonna be a long while I know. Just started investigating methods today. I was reading up about it in the past, but having a Retina laptop will make testing and trying out methods much easier.
 
Sorry if this has been asked before,but does the order status update from processing to preparing etc at a certain time of day or can it be anytime?? I thought it might just change during Shanghai "working hours"
 
Please tell me why my package is still in Alaska and hasn't left yet? It's been over 24 hours. My delivery is expected for tommorow at 10am. I'm starting to worry :(

Just saw a rMBP commercial on TV, right after seeing "Preparing Shipment" for the 1000th time since Monday. Stop screwing with me, Apple!!!
 
All of my updated came in the middle of the night....which was working hours in China

I'm at the same spot as you and have the same note in my tracking. Glad to see I caught up!

and the flight should be leaving any moment now!
 
And...... it's...... delivered! Looking forward to getting home to open it. Ordered on 12th with expected delivery between the 9th and 16th. So, quite a bit sooner than expected.

For those of you frustrated with TNT tracking stopping at pudong, mine was on it for a couple of days and then this morning it said out for delivery, then delivered. Boom!
 
Ordered June 14th.

2.3 / 16 / 256 with Thunderbolt -> Ethernet and student discount. Just changed to "Preparing for Shipment".
 
movement from alaska already! it landed around 3 hours ago. Im guessing on it's way to memphis even though I'm in canada?
