Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

That sounds a bit optimistic to me. I think there's still a lot left for them to do before they start moving on to most of the 15ths (sure, maybe they'll prepare one or two, but not many).

I ordered on the 14th and it's still processing.

BTO base model with 16GB RAM, if you're curious.

My local Apple store had a bunch of rMBP's in stock today but they were only the base model so I didn't bite.

I dont think they know what their talking about.I spoke to one the other day and asked if adding more ram would delay my order further,her reply was that it wouldnt,which clearly isnt the case judging from a few people on this forum.

Let me know if your order status changes,i "should" be right after you
 
Even if it misses departure on FDX28 (which is normally scheduled to leave at 15:50 AKDT), there's a few other flights from PANC to KMEM:

FDX16, departs 02:15 AKDT (although Thursday's flight has already completed)
FDX94, departs 14:15 AKDT
FDX74, departs 14:30 AKDT (but is delayed)

On other days, there are others in FDX74's time frame.

Okay, here I go again. Could FDX74 be delayed because they are waiting to put on the shipment from Shanghai?

Apple are going into the future to fulfill orders when they haven't even shipped out all the orders from the first week?

Totally unacceptable. They should give me a free superdrive or some such.

FDX28 itself flies to Memphis, they just filed the flight plan/or at least flightaware just picked it up. Due in Memphis (assuming it isn't delayed) at 1:05cdt.

One or the other of those are definately continuation of other flights from Asia, the other might just be the normal AK->lower48 freight flight.

Theres really no reason for the cargo off FDX28 to be unloaded (unless customs wants to look at it), theres probably not much room on the other planes anywya.

We almost ordered at the same time. This is getting ridiculous... This thread is only making things worse yet I can't stay away from it. I can't even comprehend how 2.3/16/256 14th orders are shipping ahead of us, seriously wtf?

I hope we move to preparing by tomorrow morning. At least I will never have any doubts on how to spell "processing" ever again.
 
So, with all the flight stuff... if my status is "Package received after FedEx cutoff" at 7:41pm "Today" the 28th, what plane would that be on, and what time there would it be that they get it?
 
If it's after the FedEx cutoff, that means it's too late to load for the FDX28 flight departing ~20:30 (it actually departed 21:29) Chinese time on the 28th.

It'll be on tomorrow's FDX28 flight instead, departing at the same 20:30 estimate.

SMH, FDX 28 was delayed so it was 1 hour later, I hope all that stuff can make the flight to Memphis at 4..
