Yes some have had that preparing for shipment for 3 days before it actually ships so nothing to worry about.
Ordered on 6/11 within hours of the store going online. 2.6 Ghz, 16GB RAM, 768GB SSD, shipping to Texas with 2-3 day shipping. Was immediately placed in the 3-5 weeks waiting period (7/9-7/20). Has been in processing ever since. This morning at around 4am CDT my debit card was charged the full amount while still showing as processing. Here's to hoping it gets here asap, though any info about how long it usually takes to ship after getting charged the full amount would be helpful while waiting.

Ordered 6/19 base model ships: 3-4 weeks, delivers: 7/18 - 7/24 via standard shipping (processing items) any body have better news?

Pretty sad, especially given I can't track online, as it's a biz discount order from a store.

As at today...processing order. still. Feel bad if I call the guy up asking to do a manual status check again tomorrow, think he's getting a bit upset with me at asking about 10 times so far.
However, I'm a little bit hopeful that there's some good news coming given I'm seeing so many 11/12th all the way through to 16th orders seeing CC charges or being shipped.

not sure, but once it gets to preparing to ship, I waited 5 days (including weekend)
Well, I finally placed my order for my base model + 16GB RAM + Education discount + 5% Discover Cashback. Kinda mad that I didn't do it sooner, but I'm a procrastinator. I already bought a base model from Best Buy so I'll have to return that sometime. My gift card just shipped out, kinda useless but I'll make a good ~$90 on that from Plastic Jungle

For those of you who have gotten charged by the banks but are still in processing...
I was charged early this morning (around 6:00 am EST) and just now got the "Preparing for Shipment" change in status (~1:00).
Finally some progress! Estimated delivery is 7/9-20, ordered on 6/11 to Ohio 2.6/768/16

Mine has been sitting "At local FedEx facility" in shanghai for the past 3 days... July 7, 8, and 9...

My June 13th order (2.6 / 16 / 512) came in today. Running at native resolution now, and it's absolutely astounding.
I did have one dead pixel however. Luckily, I was able to fix this using jscreenfix while massaging / applying pressure to the affected pixel with my finger through a microfiber cloth.

Are you calling the stores locally? They might get one in stock before your online order is shipped.
It was the only way I could get the student discount. I'm on vacation in Greece for the next fortnight so if Apple are delivering as estimated it will hopefully be arriving shortly after my return.
