How can I track down what flight my laptop is on?

Kinda funny how so many people are getting upset because others who ordered later got thiers first. It reminds me of the worker parable in the bible.

The day after tomorrow will be the start of my 5th week, and I'm still processing. If they don't ship mine tomorrow, then the ships in 3-4 weeks that I was given would not be true. I'm pretty sure that I'll be the first person in here that Apple will screw over.

I first saw the pending charge on my credit card this morning around 5:30 AM CDT. The order status just changed to Preparing for Shipment around 6:50 PM CDT today.

within 24 hrs for me

2.7/16/512, ordered within 3 hours of the online store being online

seems like the general posts today were , people on the 18th getting theirs and , people on the 16th's just changed to prepping haha.. I'm getting weary as a 19ther! lol

It only took about 7 hours from the time my card got a pending charge to the time my order status switched from processing to preparing for shipment. Still waiting for it to change to shipped though! Good luck!

2.6 16 512 ordered on June 17th via EDU to UK
Original delivery estimate upon ordering was 17-23rd July
Apple are now estimating a July 10th delivery... that's today! Woohoooo! 1 week early! :D

My 2.7/16/768 order placed on 6/11 after the keynote has finally updated to Preparing for Shipment.

Student discount used.

Bill me later used.
 
My 2.7/16/768 ordered on 06/11 changed to "Preparing for Shipment" some time between 7 and 7:30 am CDT this morning. I still have the same status and was hoping to see a status change this evening.

How do we "guess" what flight our computer could be on? I know we can use flightaware but does anyone know the origin airport code?

When did your status change? Don't say a "month" for delivery! That will drive me insane. :)

Even I ordered on the 17th via EDU to UK
Base model rMBP, but mine is still processing! :(
Don't know why?!

Thank you! I feel your pain, "processing" is horrible.

I can say that as soon as it changes to preparing it could be with you within a week! Mine changed to preparing 5 days ago and it's currently around 100 miles away from me. On route to my local UPS depot and then out for delivery in the morning I imagine.

Your status change may happen within the next day! Good luck!

Very excited. It was co-incidently overnight. I woke up, checked my phone first thing (how obsessed do we get! - ha) and it changed to preparing!

Within 24 hours from preparing it was shipping!
 
Hopefully coming up on the finish line. Still no pending charges on the card and still in processing...but it's (it being a rMBP 2.6/16/512) supposed to be here (Asheville, NC, USA) between the 16th and 20th. The excitement is tremendous. I ordered around 11:00am EDT on 6/16 and it has been a real pleasure seeing other people on here share in this excitement and anticipation. I know this will be an awesome computer, but the wait really has been fun. I hope you all enjoy it as much as possible and I'll be sure to share when I receive more status updates. :)

Between 4 and 6 pm ct today. I was pure excitement for 30 seconds and then reflexively, back to dammit, how long will it be preparing... Ha! Still so excited
