Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Finally!!!

Was very hopeful when I saw the last page or so of updates about four hours ago, so many "Preparing for Shipments", but mine was still "Processing" . . . however just checked 5 min. ago and it is FINALLY Preparing for Shipment!!

Ordered: June 16
2.6/16/512

Hopefully I have it in my hands a week from today! (Standard shipping to Great Falls, Montana.)

Went to: "Preparing for shipment..." 7/10 @1AM
Config: 2.3/16/256 EDU

Finally, I'm that much closer to getting it into my hands! :D

I ordered mine on June 11 @ 4:30 EST (about 1.5 hours after the store opened). Good news though, it just moved to "shipped" last night at 12:36 EST and has an expected arrival date of Jul 12, 10:30 am! Unfortunately I've got class all day until 5 that night, but hopefully time will pass quickly!

Just went Preparing For Shipment! (within the last 2 hours) Finally :) Hopefully I won't wait long for the status to change to Shipped.

Mine shipped! Email came in at 1:07 CDT and it looks like it will be here Thursday. Going to see if a plane left for the US during the night!

This is great! Thanks! If I'm correct, my computer is on FX28 leaving PVG in about 1.5 hrs and heading to Alaska. Will check after 8:00 CDT to see if it departed? Looks like my 2.7/16/768 is on its way!
 
Ordered 6/17, 2.3/16/256 with an EDU discount, FINALLY went to "preparing for shipment."

How long does it normally take for it to go from preparing to actually shipped?
 
I just went to preparing for shipment, i am a 6/16 order 2.6/16/512. Though i had to call my credit card company this morning to allow the purchase because they thought it was fraud.

Just an update on this. I checked my order status almost nonstop yesterday and it was still listed as Processing. When I woke up this morning, the status was Preparing for Shipment. It looks as if this status change happened about 24 hours after my card was charged (both of which happened on a business day). The charge in my bank account is still listed as Processing. With any luck it'll ship equally as soon and hopefully arrive before the end of the week. :)

Similar experience! I, also, live in Texas! Went to Preparing around this time yesterday morning. Last night around 1:00 am I got the shipping notification and, if all goes well, it should be on a plane to anchorage in about 30 minutes and here on Thursday. So, if your computer follows the same pattern, yours may be with you by Friday! Good luck!

I ordered on 6/11 - see config in signature!

2.7 / 16 / 768 ordered June 12th still processing for me... and no credit card charges yet. I have had this external superdrive and extra charger on my desk for 3 weeks now...

I think I really lucked out with mine as it seems like they're still working on 15-18's... But I really hope yours ships soon! :)

I'm waiting for this as well. How long has yours been stuck on Preparing? Mine has been just over 12 hours. Can't wait! I'm really really hoping it ships soon so I can get it before the weekend! :)
 
I ordered the 512/2.6/16 on 6/26 w/ an estimate of 7/25-7/31

seems like its taking forever, especially after spending $3,600
 
Doesn't seem that many June 19th orders have gotten processed yet, right? I ordered a 2.6/16/512 and is expected to arrive between 17 and 23. I haven't seen any charge on my credit card either :confused:

whats crazy is when I called in last week, the guy mentioned that someone who ordered on 6/24 (two days before me) was shipping out the day I called..

I wonder if he was full of crap..
 
I wonder if everybody that is preparing for shipment now that needs to be sent to the US will be on the same shipment and is waiting for that shipment to get full before sending?

They are probably waiting on the Fedex pickup, which only picks up 1-2 times a day(Most companies 1, Foxconn perhaps more)
