Unfortunately it might be a while. I ordered 6/11 with the same config and just tonight did I change to "preparing". Good luck though, it's worth the wait!

Credit card has had the full amount on hold since early this morning but still no movement on the apple site. Saw at least two of the exact same setups purchased on 6/16 (same date) switch to "preparing to ship" this afternoon.
Here is to hoping I wake up tomorrow morning to not having to see the words we all hate so much "Processing Items".

This is giving me hope that mine might randomly ship out sooner since I ordered the same model

Same here. I am praying that tomorrow I see movement. The wait is killing me but I know it's almost here.
Ordered 2.3/16/256 on June 21 and it went to Preparing For Shipment sometime in the last 2 hours.
I have the same configuration ordered on the same date! I'm really hoping to be greeted by that news soon! Congrats. =)

Seems like a lot of 16th-19th orders are finally changing to preparing. My order (June 18th, 2.3/8/256) is still in processing but hopefully this is a good sign. Estimate of 16th-20th July.
Is it just me or is Apple focusing on delivering the base models to the retail stores rather than fulfilling online orders? Most of those shipping out seem to the BTO or higher spec models. Oh well, hopefully will see some movement soon! Congrats to all of you who have finally seem some movement =)

Nope its not just you, I think this is generally what happens since we are lower priority.
Later orders may start to pop up sooner rather then later given each day there was probably less orders placed, assuming so anyhow. I'd imagine the first couple of weeks would be the initial 'bottleneck'.
Wondering when they will start shipping with Mountain Lion, will they anticipate it's release and send them loaded up early or wait until its official?
