Once it's shipped. It should ship out in like 14 hours. They charge it when they actually ship it out not when it's preparing.
Just switched to preparring for shipping. Ordered at BTO base model 16gb of ram on Monday at around 5pm EST. Also, i had the 7-10 day shipping estimate.
Thanks! I don't quite understand your comment about shipping. Are you saying that it should take 14 hours to move from prepping to shipped to shipped?
Yes, I guess I should have been clearer.
Most people have stated that the status changed to ship around 14 hours after it became preparing for shipment.

Good to see they're getting to the 7-10 days waiters. I'm guessing they'll get to the 2-3 weeks in the upcoming days.

As someone suggested earlier on here, you can use the Auto Refresh extension (on Chrome) and Page Monitor. You'll get notified as soon as something changes without you having to manually click refresh every so often.
Estimated delivery day buddies!
kind of dumb for me because I ordered a few hours after the apple store came back up.
Mine must be the only 5-7 day time frame that still has not shipped. Mine has been stuck on preparing to ship for ~1.5 days. It sucks because I am going out of the country on Friday and I really wanted to play around with it before I left. I ordered right when the store went back up and would never have imagined it would take this long.
Ordered a non-retina MBP on 6/14, confirmation email noted delivery on 6/15... But then was notified of a delay and it's coming on Monday.
The package already arrived and the local UPS hub at the same time on Saturday morning as my ram/ssd from amazon; which was delivered a couple hours later... My package from apple is still sitting there

Ok so a transaction on a device with a web browser made through an INTERNET site is a bad idea? Ok thats logical... not.
Also why is financing a bad idea? Works out at less APR than most credit cards. Plus it's the added benefit of paying it off monthly and not getting into credit card debt..
Think what u want...ur the one with the long wait. And I'm not saying financing was bad but applying through a phone was not the smartest move. Don't be mad at me I'm not your phone.
At what time did you place your order last Monday then (with timezone) may I ask?
Ordered it around 6pm est. Received the "thank you for your order" email around 2:41am est. Not sure if those thank you emails have any merit on the times they were sent out.
Config is base 2.3 retina with 16gb upgrade.

What were your configs? I feel like more 2.6s are shipping good for me bad for those who ordered 2.3s
Ordered a custom RMBP on 6/15, my wait is estimated currently at 3-4 weeks and delivery on 7/16-7/20. What are my chances of an early shipment?

These fly out to Frankfurt right now, and will go to Prag after that. Apple requested it should arrive in Prag on Thursday, so maybe they can make some time up in the transit from Frankfurt -> Prag.
From Prag it usually takes 3 days to arrive at my doorstep (Germany).
