MacBook Pro 2021 Launch Day Store Stock

Nah I doubt MBP have the same user base as the AW. One is a "Pro" product that costs 2-3 times more than the AW.

Just try your luck man. You're gonna refresh the store to check for stock anyway so just do it earlier LOL.

So glad I'm happy with my MBA and don't need to stress about this MBP launch lol

I'll be checking online for a 16" Pro Space Gray w/ 32GB and 1TB SSD, but I'm fully expecting I'll be waiting until mid-November.

Had no issues walking in last year and getting my M1 Mac on launch day.

This year might be a different story though, chip shortages, supply issues. ?‍♂️

I was thinking that if people were able to get M1 Macs on launch day last year when the world was still shut down for the most part - I don’t think there will be an issue this year with these MacBooks being significantly more expensive.

Yes, but supply chain issues are getting worse.. look at m1 iPad Pro as greatest example.

New design of mbp 2021 doesn’t help, but unsure if m1 max is built off m1 and thus would not be subject to chip shortages like the m1 iPad Pro was.

If I can’t find one in store, I’m sure my 4-5 week will fly by. ??‍♂️?

Apple press release

They will begin arriving to customers and will be in select Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting Tuesday, October 26.

I guess every apple store isn't getting them

Best Buy is showing the 16gb 1tb 14 inch M1 Pro as available for pickup on Tuesday. I pre ordered just now so we’ll see if it’s actually available. If my local Apple store has in store stock on Tuesday then I’ll probably go that route, trade in my 2019 Pro at Apple, and cancel the BB order.

Same here on the BB order. My order page is like "we don't have a date for this" and the product page now says it is not available in stores. I just hope they exhausted their pre-order stock or something. I hope they come through.
