To be honest I think that Friday will only happen if our precious just got into one of the two main Apple warehouses here in Europe.

But I don't think that is the case. I assume that they are still in China.

Is there anyone here who ordered from a reseller in a country without an Apple store? What did they tell you? I was at iStorm yesterday and they insisted there was no way of knowing when they would receive the MBP's.

I was surprised seeing as the member from Bulgaria said that he had ordered and even got a delivery time estimate.

I'm pretty sure they will ship from China.

If you look at the 'ships' range and the 'delivers' range it should deliver a week after it ships... that would make sense for China

In another thread people had a delay of max three days between the two steps. Then a delivery next week would be guaranteed. I think that would be a bit late though.

Ah yes. I ordered a BTO, 13" TB with 16GB RAM and 256GB disk. So they will in turn order it for me and call me when they have my specific machine in stock. Sorry for the confusion

Reseller stores have apple accounts and when they order, they see the estimate delivery date frame. The ordering is almost the same as with normal customer account, but of course with different prices among other things.
