Strange path yours took to reach AMS if that is indeed the correct reference Apple gave you. Apple's website gives you no delivery tracking option at all?

The website says that they will give me the tracking number when my order is merged. So laptop + dongle, only then do I get my number.

Makes sense, does Apple give you the option to ship separately when ordering normally? I've never ordered multiple items like that.

Hamburg Germany reporting in! Ordered mine in the night after the announcement at ~2am (drunk, if that information helps). Received the shipping confirmation yesterday 23. with an estimated delivery on the 29th. Today, DHL tracking already shows me the following:
Does this mean my precious is already in the Netherlands after one day? Wut?

Depends exactly when on Wednesday you got the shipped notification, and whether it made the cargo manifest clearance before cutoff.
You can go to http://dct.dhl.com/input.jsp, put in your shipping dates and Shangai/Amsterdma, and you.ll see the eta in Amsterdam. Add an extra day to the estimate and that's when it should come to you.
Those that get shipping notifications today (Thurs) will see tracking updates on Monday late afternoon, with delivery on Tuesday.
I'm fairly confident a few of us will be getting our machines a day earlier than the ETA Apple has provided.

Yeah, I should have gone for separate shipping... That was my misstep. I just don't understand why it takes an additional 5 days to add one dongle to my order.

Hi,
I'm in the 25/11-02/12 group and still processing. BTO 15" Looking at the dates for the other guys in the same group, makes me think that the delivery will miss the window.
As I'm away to work on the 28th Nov for 3 weeks I have definitely missed the chance of getting it b4 I go. The only chance I have to keep checking the Glasgow stores for any 15" in the Specs I am after

I guess they ran out of dongle stock. A bit silly but I guess not much you can do about it (but maybe ask for an iTunes gift card for the delay) 🙂

Merge in transit, they have to direct both parcels to a processing location and then merge them into a single parcel before releasing them for the rest of their journey.
You've unfortunately learned the hard way never to allow an order to merge in transit! 🙁

I ordered two dongles together with my 15 inch BTO. My delivery window is 25 nov - 2 dec and the estimated delivery date is nov 30th.
My order is on its way but I haven't received a DHL tracking code yet. hopefully my dongles are there in time so I do not experience delays because the items needs to be combined before delivery can proceed.
Can I ask you how you got your tracking code?

Well, I think I'm now confident the 28th will indeed be the date I get the MBP (as per Apple's estimate). I received the email at around 17.30 local time, so just after midnight Shanghai time.
7CP2893 was picked up at Tue, Nov 22, 2016 15:43 however, so unless Apple's email was really late, I think I am indeed on 7CP2894 which was picked up at Wed, Nov 23, 2016 09:00.
So for all those with 28th shipping estimates - unfortunately it seems more likely to clear customs tomorrow morning not today, arriving by 6pm tomorrow at AMS hub.
If Saturday deliveries are a possibility, then we might be lucky and get it then. Fingers crossed for any kind of early delivery for anyone really 🙂

I don't have a tracking code. I tracked the cargo my MBP was in. I know it was delivered to whatever facility in the Netherlands that they sort them in. After that, it's radio silence.

Hi, many thanks for the update, but as it is still Processing, I don't think it has a chance in hell of changing from Processing - P4S - Shipped today. But maybe tomorrow, so it will arrive by the end of the window.
Visiting the stores tomorrow to see if they have any 15 inch in stock, and will cancel, or return the online order. Again depending upon if they have the BTO spec I'm looking for.
So if my sms from apple about shipping came wednesday 06:00 in swedish time (cet+1) it means it should be on 7CP2894? or is that 09:00 time in the china timezone? if its china timezone it was picked up 02:00 in swedish time which means im on a later plane maby 7CP2895 that arrive to amsterdam 04:00 friday morning

With a week until the first delivery window day id have expected yours to be charged by not at least.
Lets hope this doesn't suggest theres an issue on the way 🙁
