I wonder if paying by debit has an effect on shipping...
My father and wife both paid with ideal and it changed from 16-23 to 17-24 because of they didn't receive the payment initially, they had to manually search the transaction and add it to their orders.

For a moment I thought you meant it had changed to Shipped! Was about to become ecstatic!

No, sadly not just yet. I hope to see that change early tomorrow at least from what the chat has told me but i don't take what they say to seriously. I was another one to use PayPal not expecting any difference but took a couple days for them to authorise payments etc. so i am fingers crossed for a Saturday Delivery but expect it to be next Monday. Just happy i managed to get that 2-3week timeframe if i get it in that window i'm happy.

How do I know if it hasn't been added? My date was never pushed back, and it's processing, so I assume that they received the payment?

Edit to add that I just called CS and they confirmed that they have the money. The dude was like, you should get the P4S status Thursday or Friday ://///

Well, technically three weeks will have passed tomorrow since the presentation. I expect shipping to happen at some point tonight.

Base 15" ordered on 2nd November - delivers 8th-14th December. UK.

Hoping for early shipment but probably won't be.

I've ordered on 8th November over a third party german retailer, let's see how long it will take.
I think my delivery time frame is end December till mid January 2017, dunno.

Okay, since they didn't change to shipped this afternoon...I've lost the hope the units already being in the EU.... :-(

To bad... but it would be nice to see a change in status to "shipped" this evening, having a little change to receive my MacBook Friday..

The P4S didn't hit before 22 yesterday evening or later, so you have plenty of time yet to hit It today.

Since youve been so helpfull before I will ask you again :)

Should I be worried apple hasnt tried to authorized my card with a 1€ transaction?

CS keep telling us they're shipping from China. Can we stop dreaming about secret facilities and random logistics?
  1. CS know nothing.
  2. Syncreon in the UK isn't exactly secret, it's huge! :p

  3. It's not very random because 99% of the time things are shipped from locally, it's only the first batch and BTO models that aren't.
I agree with you though - they're coming from China.

15-21st December for my 15" MBP:

2.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.5GHz
• 16GB 2133MHz memory
• 1TB PCIe-based SSD
• Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB memory

4-17th January for my LG UltraFine 4K Display.

Late to the party as I initially reordered a 13" MBP. I first got a MacBook in 2009 and always went for 13".

13" MacBook unibody > 13" MBA > 13" rMBP > 12" MacBook.

This will be my first 15" MacBook ever. Really excited!!!!!!!!! :)

No, they will tell you if something is wrong for sure! :D

It might of course mean that they haven't started building your BTO, but whan is your Mac supposed to arrive?

Customers from Austria interestingly only have the following options:
View attachment 672759

It's representative of the people that live in the country - though in the case of DE, it's mostly Berlin's diverse population that's responsible I would imagine. There's plenty of Spaniards, Russians and Americans living here. Australia uses the US keyboard layout, and there's also plenty of Australian's here too. Surprisingly there's no Turkish keyboard, but I guess Apple knows that most of the naturalised Turks in Germany would use the German keyboard layout.

When I moved to Berlin, US keyboards were not an option until around 2012.
