Remember that for our american mates, delivery of carrier was often earlier than estimated delivery of Apple...
In the meantime, my 13" BTO is still PFS (17-24 Nov)...

I would not worry about the estimated date for those just despatched being a week away. I think that's a worst case scenario and once the tracking number becomes active it will be much shorter.

Well seeing that tracking is not working yet, you could assume that Apple doenst know the actual date themselves. So it might be just a placeholder.
DHL will give us the correct information.

So if it is DHL it can actually be in the Netherlands and the 23rd estimated date is indeed just a placeholder and we get it tomorrow???

I totally agree, this is just a default date pending the real estimation once DHL are up to date.

I must agree it's weird we get the last possible date for each shipment. And why no UPS when it's coming from China? I thought this was unusual?

I'm actually quite hopeful now it's coming this week, also because DHL delivers on Saturday's and some US shipments even arrived from China after 2 days.

:eek::eek:

Edit: Nevermind. DHL "Express" only seems to deliver from Monday - Friday, except Apple pays them a little extra.

it's most likely just a placeholder filled by the last day of the delivery window since apple probably also has no access to the tracking information yet.

ALSO: no change to shipped yet :-(

My worry is that this is our tracking from NL but the actual MacBooks are still in China...
We could be looking at this DHL tracking not moving until Monday, and then suddenly it will update & we will receive the next day :(

I chose the delivery to a pickup store ( Germany ) and the only pickup stores available were UPS stores.
