Guys, does anyone know of a way to reach apple besides the useless CS? Because I'm getting nowhere and I need to get my laptop next week! I'm going away after that!
The best way is to just call and ask to speak to their supervisor, and keep doing that until you get an answer you're happy with.

I don't know why yours hasn't shipped yet, but Apple always meets their estimates for things like Macs and iPhones. So if you're not going away before the 24th you don't need to worry about that.

no wizard, but I think these are all the UPS/DHL flights that are in the air now;
UPS: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/ups-airlines-5x-ups
DHL: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/dhl-air-d0-dhk
note that the order is on flight number, so new planes don't necessarily show at the top.

also, a friend of mine is a pilot for DHL. pretty sure he doesn't fly from china, but I could ask him for some insider info ;)

EDIT: UPS 81 just left from China, pretty sure its another load of MacBooks for our US friends..

My mbp 15 destined for UK is in the UPS81

What worries me is that it's not even preparing for shipping yet. I don't understand why.

Hi All

My delivery slot is 9th to 15 Dec
For maxed out 15 in silver no move as yet but can wait .
Did anyone else's get offered the discount when ordering through the business chanel??

If I remember right, your delivery window starts tomorrow?
mine is 16 - 23 and it changed to P4S just 2 days ago. So you are completely in the same time frame. Relax ;)

It's very hard to be patient and see everybody else's progress. I'm sure it's fine and they're not good at updating your status but personally I would now phone and keep pushing as advised. At the end of the day, it's a lot of money for these and you deserve a better answer than, 'dah it's in China somewhere'.

I called DHL and they confirmed that the MacBook is not with them in Eindhoven as speculated, so probably China. They also said delivery tomorrow is incredibly unlikely and Monday is the earliest

I 'm just freaking out because apparently late November people are already getting their P4S status

Why is everyone surprised!? Read the thread, the MacBooks are in China, or on their way at best. Just accept that fact and in the extremely extremely unlikely event they arrive sooner, then be happy! But there is zero evidence to suggest they are anywhere other than China or on the way, even though I am also anxious to get mine too

Not very impressive. People in US got a flight out of China on Saturday I think and some already had the MBP Monday with UPS. Not much Express about DHL Express.

Not that I was expecting it Friday, but Monday should be more than doable if they indeed was Express.

I don't see a reason why DHL cannot ship from China.
They can, but maybe Apple choose another way, one thing we do know is that DHL will pick the packages up in the warehouse in Waalwijk. If they did it your way the packages don't have to go through Waalwijk, then they could just pass Eindhoven on their way to their destination.

They got their delivery straight from the factory. If it's true that tracking starts in Eindhoven, that means it will go through some hub (Leipzig (DHL), Cologne (UPS)) first, then to the AAPL center in Eindhoven and THEN to you. Doesn't make sense to me but would result in that rather long transit times.

Just got my AppleCare contract. I even know my laptop's serial number now and it's thousand of miles away. doh!

Couldn't find any flights from DHL leaving from Shanghai, don't think there is a way to track the DHL MacBooks before they are in the Netherlands.
For UPS I found multiple routes from Shanghai to Cologne (where they will probably land, then trucks or something to NL), which might be the reason why we have to wait a day or two longer then the ppl in US, when it comes to Shanghai->your front door.
The route from Shanghai to Anchorage is pretty short and looks non-stop. From there to other places in the US is obviously faster then from there to the EU..

Then again, I don't know any more about these flights and companies then any of us so its all just speculations ;)

So basically Apple screwed us first with a later shipment, then screwed us again with an inferior shipping solution/company.

Not very impressed.

Didn't somebody post a screenshot of his iPhone 7 tracking via DHL? No information for the first two/three days, only then tracking started from Eindhoven, wasn't it? I am expecting it Monday or more probably: Tuesday.

Ok. I am back. I have my tracking number. I am one of the Einhoven ones. :)

Note that the tracking number states airwaybill... :) I assume that there has to be a flight involved. :)
