I don't know why it changed this early, but to my defense, I ordered minutes after the keynote ended. So maybe it has something to do with first come first served after all? Or it might be that they're now starting to ship the large batch of stock Macbooks.

Same here... despite my delivery range it was within 30 mins of becoming available. I can't say that its unfair to get it before someone who ordered after me but had an earlier date range?

Regardless I'd say Apple messed up massively on this one way or another

It's possible that the 'Preparing for Dispatch' status is being applied to a number of orders manually somehow, so it may just be that some peoples orders haven't yet updated yet, but will be released no later than the others.

Yeah i'm sure there's some kind of manual process involved but most of it is automatic.. Maybe i'll see an update today/tomorrow..

Nov 23-30.

Before I get too excited please can the person who posted above confirm that they just went to PFD for a stock 13 inch 512gb which originally had a delivery date at the end of DECEMBER??!! (I.e. There is no typo in the posts!!)

I ask because I ordered same spec earlier this week and have a delivery date of 20-29 Dec. Hadn't even considered I might get sooner!!!

Did you order a BTO model?
Nope, 13" stock:

Oh I'm sorry, yeah it's a typo. My window was 23.11. to 30.11.!

Apple failed to delivery in promised time range 16-23. My order will come on 24th or later...

How can that be, a lot of US people are getting their MacBook before estimation, but we in Europe are delayed.

Why is apple so unfair?

Guys you do realise that Apple is a business right? They really don't care if you are unhappy if you're still paying a premium for their products. If you don't like how shipping is going, you should cancel and buy a Dell.

Well after returning my Non Touchbar one, I've just placed my order for touchbar one.

"Dispatched: 4-5 weeksDelivery: 28 Dec - 29 Dec by Standard Shipping"

It's gonna be a long wait :^( Any chance this comes a lot earlier?

Given how mine is PFD ahead of others with earlier windows I think it's safe to say no one knows anymore!
