Was it? I believe it was communicated by Apple. DHL will give an official date when they have the parcel.

I just ordered 10 minutes after the store was back. Like a lot of other people, but mine ist still not on the plane.

The latest mine is due to arrive is the 21st of December. Can anyone with experience tell me is it possible that just say in 2 weeks time it could change to p4d and arrive earlier than the earliest estimate?

The DHL shipped ones are all in the "waiting to receive the items" state, the UPS and TNT ones what does the tracking say?
TNT has nothing to say apart from that it can take up to 8 hours for items to show up. It's been longer... :(
I guess I'll see something tomorrow :)

I think my delivery will be monday 21 or tuesday 22 max. (Apple ETA: 23 nov.)

BTW it's sux... Missing the week-end.

I thought this MBP will be my last Apple computer (i don't like the direction taken by Apple), and hopped a good "last" experience. This is my worst experience with Apple for almost 10 years...

What the hell does this mean? What does that mean now? Shipping from the Netherlands or China?

Code:

Origin Service Area:
EINDHOVEN - WAALWIJK - NETHERLANDS, THE
Destination Service Area:
Stuttgart - Stuttgart - GERMANY

What is up with Apple... I ordered mine within an hour and got 18-25 but it's still processing... I don't get this.

My order window is 16-23 Nov and got dispatched on 17th and estimated delivery on 23, so maybe yours will be dispatched on the 18th or 19th hopefully before that.

I, for one, while I would have loved to have it this weekend, I don't mind getting it on Monday so that I can set this up at my other house's 300Mbps fiber connection! The "week end" house has a 13Mbps connection that is painfully slow!

It means that the start of the shipment from DHL (I suppose) is from Eindhoven. This does not mean the package is already there!

It means that DHL has to pick the parcel up in Waalwijk, bring it to Eindhoven hub, transport it to Stuttgart hub and then deliver it to you in Stuttgart.

It doesn't say anything about where the parcel is now, could be in China, in between China and Waalwijk or in Waalwijk. We won't know until we see the next scan.

So best thing you can do is grab a beer, and relax until the doorbell rings somewhere next week. :)

Still a long wait here, my estimated shipping is 20th-29th December

What's more annoying is reading the US threads to find people have cancelled, reordered and have a quicker shipping time than me... or the fact they they are also available in store for walk-ins yet they haven't fulfilled preorders.... this is just as bad as the iPhone 7 launch :(

XIII

I have the exact same dates. Ordered a 15 inch 2.6 with 512gb, Scotland

About 2hrs after it finished. Was going to pull the trigger as soon as they showed up in the store, but had to go for a walk to consider things due to the extra cost.
I think its best to order as soon as possible, that way you can take your time and think if you should keep or cancel while the order is processing.

Been watching this thread since the beginning and finally thought I'd throw my frustration out there. Can't believe the availability in US stores now, not only do the orders jump ours, now you don't even need to have pre ordered. It would have been faster and cheaper for me to fly out to the states and pick one up out there with the UK prices now.
All made worse by the "Express" delivery company taking up to 7 days. What a mess.

Allright, I may write to him tomorrow morning! Can you guys confirm the email? (schiller@apple.com)
That's correct.

Emailing him bearing in mind the time in California. I would assume your chances of reply are maximised if it hits his inbox early morning Cupertino time - I'm sure he gets a lot of emails. :p

Though I bet a minion sifts though his email before it reaches him anyway...

Sooo, 8 in the morning for them, 17 for me in Italy!

PS: more than one probably!

Syncreon is managing this whole process. I think Apple is trying to save money by shipping from China to Eindhoven and then letting DHL handle the EU delivery from there.

I doubt the goods are even in the EU yet. They probably just printed the DHL shipping labels in China and they will split them up when they arrive in NL. Disappointing really, I was hoping to have it for the weekend.
