I'm called by Apple to tell me that my order delayed. The reason is that my MacBook Pro not default stock MacBook Pro is, but upgraded MacBook Pro with 16 GB RAM. The first deliver date was 16 - 25, after that 24 / 25 and now 5 - 9 dec. The order status shows my that my MacBook Pro will delivers 24/25 and current state is preparing for shipping. After the call is my order state not changed, little bit strange.. Have some one the same problem?

I´m little worried right now. I have also 13" BTO 16/512 config. Changed to PFS today, but no call, money gone and deliver window 11/25 - 12/2 has not changed.

To be fair, in pure business terms, Tim Cook IS a logistics genius....he has managed to get orders to his biggest market quicker than expected.

It just sucks for us in the EU, thats all.

I still maintain that the bit that rankles is the availability of the machines in Apple Stores to folk who didn't pre-order and can just walk in and pick them up. THATS what bugs me....I can live with Muricans getting their pre-orders early, but the stores is a big no-no and has put me off pre-ordering anything with Apple in the future

Yes, i am called by Apple. I ordered my MacBook Pro after few hours after the keynote (October 27, 2016). The first delivery was 16 - 23 nov. Friday it was changed to 24/25 and now i am called by Apple that my order is delayed and the new delivery date is 5 - 9 dec. The reason: Not stock default MacBook Pro 13 inch with Touch Bar and Touch ID. The order status page is not changed after the call.

My configuration:
  • 2.9GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5
  • 16GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
  • Intel Iris Graphics 550
  • 256GB PCIe-based SSD
  • Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
  • Touch Bar and Touch ID
  • Force Touch trackpad
  • KYBD/USER'S GUIDE-NLD
  • COUNTRY KIT-INT
[doublepost=1479567382][/doublepost]There are probably problems with European Language Sets, Keyboards and Internationalization of the Touch - Bar. I they could, they'd delvier on time.

The problem is NOT European keyboard etc. there are plenty of Europeans in this thread who have ordered US keyboards and plenty of people in the US thread that have ordered EU keyboards.

They have theirs, the Europeans who ordered US boards haven't got theirs.

Me too. Although to be fair, it's not like you can walk into any Apple Store in the US and get a MBP just like that. In fact, when I checked two days ago, most Apple Stores e.g. on the West Coast didn't have any stock while some did. But yeah it should have been first come first serve, that is People who pre-ordered should have gotten their MBPs first.

The US is Apple's home market but is it bigger than all of europe combined? o_O

yea i am pretty sure Apple is doing **** to save money on their end. Such a greedy company they became . it is not about what day or time it arrives , i want to know where is my package exactly what day it will arrive and I want Apple to keep me posted. It should not be this hard.

Seriously what a BS system is, it says "Shipped" and showing "tracking information received, NL". bloody say , it is in China. Be transparent , be clear. Be fair. it is 2017 almost. And bloody spend some money on your online presence and store.

Yeah, I checked out my local Apple Store in Frankfurt every day on the way back from work and they got no clue.
My guess is they're getting Display modes on Tuesday, at least that's when I can pick up mine in the Store.

I would have guessed they'll get them last Wednesday but no... oh well just a couple of days left for me.:cool:

i'm pretty sure you will be one of the first if not THE first who gets hands on a Macbook with Touch Bar in this Apple Store :D was the same in a US Store where the apple employees insisted on unboxing the new macbook because they havent seen one live yet :p

I have honestly been waiting for Apple to come out and admit that they've been having delaying the EU market. Or at least given us a reason as to why the US customers are getting their orders pushed forward while we're experiencing delays. But no. I suppose that was too much to expect from a company that does everything in its power to admit to nothing and not taint its reputation.

Haha, checked the Apple Support status for the serial that's in my invoice (still a weird thing they send that already). The 1 year support expires 16-11-2017 ... the seem to think I've got it in possession already ... ór they expected it to be...

Apple want to make more money which is fine but be transparent / fair / honest about it. who cares if "Shipment information received " or not. What does it mean to end user. What is the point of tracking a delivery if it shows this message for 3 days ?

So concerning the first batch delivery:

1) The DHL guys have basically no clue
2) The UPS guys apparently got Shanghaied
3) TNT?

Was pre-charged last night according to my bank. Funds not taken but allocated.

15" - 16 GB - 1TB - 460 & Final Cut Pro.

3/4 wk shipping and 25 Nov - 2 Dec Delivery

Shipping to the UK, still Processing Items :-(
Same situation for me. I asked the Apple Support and the guy estimated it might be shipped around Wednesday with a 5 working day delivery time... So around the 29th..

I have two 13" 16/256 on order, delivery estimate 14-20 December, ordered on November 8th.

I have a discount applied to these but nevertheless still look around at what UK stores are offering, so just FYI, if anyone cares, Curry's/PCWorld have stock models which will deliver this month with £100 discount. Also, laptops direct have them also available this month, they specify November 29th, at £1629 for the base 13" TB model.

I too think the way Apple have 'not' dealt with the expectations of Europeans, despite delivery windows having not been missed as of yet, is poor PR and bad business.

I'm obviously late to the ordering process but I feel for the rest of you that placed your orders in all good faith that everything would be on an equal footing globally. Such as shame that lack of action by Apple essentially alienates existing and new potential customers and erodes 'good will' that may have been built up over many years.

Of course we'll all still buy and none of us will truly vote with out wallets and walk away, but a little bit of love is lost every time and one day that might turn into a divorce.

More fool anyone that takes their customer base for granted.

Good luck all.

How many days before the P4S date were the CC charges? I seem to recall 2-3 days in this thread, is that the case?

The first batch of us had charges Friday last week, PFS on Tuesday evening and then shipping on Thursday afternoon. It seems to go faster for people now though.

This is normal. It will be updated a few days after delivery.
