is it REALLY that hard to tell us when the new MBP's are coming out? Is it that much of a military secret?! Just give us the date already! this is becoming ridiculous! They are costing me money dicking around and causing my blood pressure to sky rocket! BUT, with all that said, i suppose i just have to wait ANOTHER week, thanks for nothing apple.
Yup, 2,5 hours to update it to include aperture 2. And in that time span they couldn't update the trial-link to go to Aperture 2, nope, it still goes to 1,5
Man! I feel bad for you guys. I'm not too concerned because i can't get mine until my tax return comes back, but damn.. another week.
I completely agree with being annoyed. The fact they still charge @3k for a fully loaded (and very out of date) 15" is absurd. Especially when a brand new machine is very close on the horizon (even if its 1-2 months away). for the same if not less money.

Maybe next week - give Apple time to preload 10.5.2 and distribute the MBPs to their brick and morter stores.
I'm very sure Apple will not wait months and months to put Penryns in their machines. Shame, because if they do, thats how long I have to wait... ::-(

Hello everyone, I've been reading these boards for about 3 months now and finally decided to add my input.
Been a mac user for 5 years
It sucks that of course we got blue balls yet again on the MBP, I like many, am still waiting for this damn thing to come out. But your best bet is to be optimistic. I was a tar and sold my g4 with cs2 because I thought we would have our MBP. On the bright side lets look at the facts.
Yesterday they released 10.5.2 ---I think that is correct
and second Aperture 2 today. Which is a software program mostly used by professionals, who I am sure use the MBP... So you damn well know this thing is gonna be out soon, March is too late in my opinion, we still have later today and also next week. Stay strong/

my absolute latest date is halfway thru march so i guess ill still wait, but damn, still it sux not knowing.. apple just hypes it more and more each week by the silence... kudos to them.. but really-...

This is terrible. I'm waiting until the end of Feb. and then buying one. Why can't they just give themt us already?
