It could be that I'm just missing something, but I just checked amazon and it says that all of the 15 inch models are in stock

I just checked and it says it's in stock as well... this morning I double check it and it was shipping between 2-4 weeks. Im guessing they got a few more units just today.....

wow.... Gonna have to wait longer to get my new Macbook pro.... :/

I'm hoping a rush of people buy those units so they go out of stock again and we can go back to feeling like the update is coming soon (aside from the sandy bridge probs) :D

Hi all

Here's an update, I put my 2010 MacBook Pro 13" on eBay, it was purchased in September last year, mint condition and the only difference is I upgraded the ram with 2 x Corsair 4GB DDR-3 RAM modules with a lifetime warranty, so I let the bidding start at AU$0.99, now remember this same model brand new with 4GB RAM for about AU$ 1,445.

Well, the verdict is in I got roughly $1,440 for my MacBook Pro, so I think I have done very well indeed - link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220730587128&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT

any new information regarding the 17 mbp short supply. bestbuy also seems to be out of the 17.

Macbook pro refresh

I've decided to jump ships from Windows 7 to Mac and am holding out for the refresh.

A friend of mine said that the refresh usually happens every between 208 days (on average). So typically every 10-11 months! I believe the last one was released sometime in April 2010 - going by my friend's prediction we'd be expecting the new MBP at the end of Feb.

I think it will most probably be around end of April. :)

I would love for that article to be true, but i just don't see how it's a realistic expectation given the situation with Intel.

Do we definitely know that Apple will be using that particular Intel processor?
