Seems B&H is the cheapest way to go,especially if they are price matching the APINSIDER discount. I'm planning on ordering the most souped up version of the 15" possible but they can't give me any date estimate. I went all the way through the ordering process (without actually ordering) on the Apple site and when I got to the shipping screen it said "available January 3rd". If Apple can't have it available until then I'm worried how long B&H will take.

I just ordered the exact same computer on the phone just now and they told me that they made initial order of 100 computers for this configuration and when I ordered there were 84 people who ordered already.
I will never per-order from B&H again!!!!

Did you log into your b&h account, it should show a ship date. My order says December 15th.
I don't see how it benefits you to order from B&H instead of Apple. Particularly since their return policy is AWFUL on computers. At least with Apple you getting a fighting chance to make sure you like it. If it's the tax savings you're after I don't think it's worth it.
i ordered from there start of November... got mine i think about the 20th November... not actually turned it on yet as it is still in the box... hope it works...
I ordered the Exact same model with Apple Care and I ordered it on the December 12th.
I ordered mine from Apple on the same date and it will be here Friday. Again, not sure why anyone would order a computer from B&H
Dude...The sensible thing would be to bail then no? Why give them the business. Are you that hung up on the tax? Although you do live in the worst state in the US when it comes to taxes and cost of living.

I just orderd from Apple will ship Jan3rd - Jan 9th,
and they gave me a 5% discount.

Well there is no sales tax and they price matched the adorama AppleInsider deal with Apple care.

My wife was raised in CT and her parents still live there. It's awful..I am from MA and I can't believe the cost of things by comparison when I visit. Beautiful state but forget about getting ahead in life.
