Apologies...if it has already been discussed...I am at an airport, and dont have the time to scroll through all the pages before my flight departure:

Looks like a hoax to me anyway.....

9to5mac said:Update: We've received multiple tips that there would be Pro updates in the coming days. This latest one about the MacBook Pros may have been fake. Shame on us.
..
I think it could still happen, though. I still believe AppleMayhem had a credible story, and he said the 16th would be the day. Here's hoping.
Stop asking stupid questions that have an obvious answer? If I am a student and want the latest Macbook Pro...what should I do?
As I've stated before, No Way does Apple realease the updated MBPs before the iPad is released!
Yes, I know that they are two different categories, but the MBPs would definitely steal a lot of the iPad's thunder.
I, too, would love to have the MBPs. Unfortunately, we are all just going to have to wait a while longer...
It's on page 2 rumors now.
Someone from this forum hoaxed 9to5... so false alarm, and don't trust 9to5
I CAN"T WAIT!
YEP I'm ready too....i5/i7 would be a great refresh - the politics with upgrading every tuesday kills us all. PC's are far ahead right now in terms of processors. I went through the models and upgrade strategies here on my blog.
It would appear that you can, since you're waiting and all...
People really have nothing better to do than come up with a conspiracy to trick 9to5? Oh wait, how much time have I spent here in this thread?http://twitter.com/9to5mac/status/10341156455
Sorry about the MacBook Pro 'hoax'. We had got a few tips but didn't realize it was a concerted effort to make us look bad. We'll do better
I doubt a new MBP announcement will hurt the iPad in any way. I think only an inconsequential percentage of Apple's iPad customer base would change plans for an iPad and choose a MBP instead.Yes, I know that they are two different categories, but the MBPs would definitely steal a lot of the iPad's thunder.
check consumer reports. they value their customers and the customers respond in a undeniable fashion. what are you? a troll?
lol good instinct. It is a hoax and it has been discussed... ad nauseum. Someone from here went and gave 9to5 a "tip" to see if he'd post it, and he did, so we know to discount everything that ever comes up on that website. Have a good flight.
