What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

The other factor with FedEx is that they have 777F aircraft in their fleet. UPS uses the 747-8F for their heavy lifting capability while FedEx uses the 777F. The 777F, if not fully loaded to max weight, can fly non-stop from China to Memphis without refueling. FedEx still has many of their 777Fs stop at ANC as that lets them load the aircraft to a higher weight and operate without a relief crew on board. But when time is off the essence, the 777F can save time by doing a direct flight. I wonder if that factors into Apple's choice here.

TN actually makes a lot of sense. I forgot about GEODIS when I posted earlier about shipments from California & Carlisle, PA. GEODIS has a massive presence out of Lebanon, TN and helps handle logistics for Apple on a lot of major product launches. So 3 areas of the country that are handling domestic shipping. Great way for Apple to save on costs, and it keeps forums like this one guessing up to the launch date deliveries for tracking info! 😜

I went through exactly the same, minus the order-then-cancel-and-reorder phases. I just fretted until I ordered on Wednesday or Thursday. Delivery 27 Nov - 3 Dec here 😂

Same dates, I don’t think we will see movement anytime soon, folks on this thread with nov 5/10 dates are seeing movement for nov 1 deliveries. But overall if you didn’t Order within minutes of launch you’ll be waiting.

I waited a day because I wanted to make sure I was buying the right thing, I bet lots of these early orders get retuned.

I never received an e-mail from Apple, but the order status in the Apple Store app says Shipped and has a tracking number.

14" base. Shipping from TN
 
My Apple Card got charged yesterday (pending) but when I try to search by reference I just get this :(

Just got my email from Apple that the order shipped. But UPS just says label created and to check back tomorrow for updated delivery date. This is the first I'm seeing anything in UPS. Ordered the 14" base about 20 min after announcement.

Apple gave me Nov. 2. UPS initially had Oct. 27 delivery but now says check back later. The package has departed Shanghai though
 
Ordered mine from Best Buy because it said I could pick it up on the 26th. But now the product page (14/1TB/15GB) says its not available in stores. Says it coudl ship by 10/26. My order is saying they are waiting on the item. Not sure if I should move it to shipping (and possibly get burned there) or just have faith and keep it at instore pickup.
 
HELP. How come UPS wants to charge me a 5.99 fee to hold for pickup at the customer care center? That never used to be the case. Anyone else have this issue? Or do you have to call them?

It just updated. Still no location info, but says delivery will be between 1:15-5:15 tomorrow. Also, it now comes up using my phone # as the reference number which was not the case 2 hours ago.

Same situation for me.

I was originally scheduled for November 3-6.

I was hoping that the PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT would mean a Tuesday delivery.

However, honestly, I can't be upset about Friday instead. Still getting it a few days early.

Not particularly happy this is a FedEx delivery as some past Apple shipments have been delayed through them.
