What size screen MacBook Pro (2021) did you order?

Nope, this is more powerful and has better screen and speakers.

Also if you configured the M2 Air to 16GB and 1TB the jump in price to the M1 pro 14" was quite small.
Better and easier to see screen right? That’s what I struggle with. Even bad tj gi this week to the eye doctor lol!!!

Yours isn't too bad for BTO, but it was more than likely there was that BTO option already in the country prior to your ordering, so they just pulled it from the stock at Apple's warehouses and it was sent.

Honestly, I'd be more happy that you have it than worry about how fast the shipping went, because the way things are going, I'd expect shipping dates to slip for everything: Apple, non-Apple, or otherwise.

What’s BTO?

I wasn’t worried about the shipping, just happy about it and curious if that was becoming more common.

Interesting that the 16 is ahead of the 14 at this time (884 to 810). I personally bought the 16, but thought the 14 would have been the most popular. It would be interesting to know what the ratio is for the general population outside of an enthusiast forum.
I suspect the 14 wins vs the 16 with the general public - because of pricing if nothing else. And I'm sure the Air beats them both.

I bought a MBP 14 with M1 Max, 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD on 23/08/2022.
Funds hold on CC on 24/08/2022 in the evening and changed to prepared for shipping on 25/08/2022 morning.
Shipped today morning (26/08/2022) and just finished clearance processing.
Scheduled for around the 30th August but estimate from Apple shows 6th September

If this helps anyone else wondering on current wait times. Mine was a BTO

I’m just quessing here, but one explanation could be that many of the 16” crew has the MBP as main computer, so they want the biggest screen.
I own a 14” and have connect to a external monitor when i’m sitting more than a couple of hours.
I dont think that i could get along with only the 14” screen on a full working day.
But thats just me😊

Yup. I went for the 14-inch MBP because I still have a 27-inch iMac. If the MBP was my only computer, I definitely would have gone for 16 inches.
