Things are pretty bad out there, first time I've seen apple telling customers to buy their stuff early, shortages aint no joke.Well this is interesting!
Less than 12 hours ago Apple opened an investigation case for my MacBook Pro and they already replaced it. They did say they would leave my original order open and if it shows up it shows up and I just have to return one of them.
Let's hope my MacBook Pro arrives soon because I'm not waiting for this ridiculousness:

I mean this is just absolutely astounding. Obviously the pandemic is causing a massive menagerie of different delays, shortages, and obstacles. But damn. This is complete insanity. I've never had an experience like this with Apple so it's definitely an interesting but frustrating journey.

@natallica I think we are pallet mates! I can't believe UPS. Mine was supposed to be delivered 11/4 but hope is quickly fading fast. I ordered mine day of announcement and it now seems to be hanging out with yours in Shanghai. I believe they are both out on a joyride throughout town possibly with @dagored and are liking it so much they are considering long-term housing at this point with them.

The silver SS. It can rock any color, but I‘m very picky. If I’m going to go with a color, I want it to punch me in the face with the wow factor. 😂 Sadly, none of the colors introduced wow me.
