Space Grey 14" with the 10 core cpu and the 1 tb $2499, traded in a Base 13" M1 apple gave me $740 for it and I only paid $999 originally, so $1749 but I get a better cpu, more memory, more Hard drive space and a better screen, and ports and function keys. I'm Happy delivers 10/26

Switching from Pro 16” to 14” base model. ETA next Tuesday. No longer in need for a big screen since I always hook up my notebook to a 32” monitor
What do you guys think the performance differences will be between the 8-core and 10-core cpu?
Got my order after multiple attempts on the app crashing, it is a hell of a decision with all the options available. With that said, got a Nov. 5 delivery 😅

The pro max is a base model but has a pro max chip. Is it not?

Ordered a 16 Inch with 32 GB of RAM. I didn't bother upgrading to 1 TB since external SSDs are cheaper and I don't even use the full 512 GB on my 2018 MacBook Pro 15. I also only need support for two external monitors, which are 2K.
Ordered the 16 in with M1 Pro. I'm excited! My watch, still in transit, can take its time now. 😁

Nov 3- Nov 5 Standard Shipping..Pro Max 64gb...can't believe they wouldn't allow pick up. Apple shipments go 'missing' with the delivery drivers all the time around here

I ordered a 14 inch base model in Silver set for delivery next Tuesday. Trading in my 2020 13 inch back to Apple. I applied for the Apple Card to get 12 months interest free so after the trade in credit, its only about $100 a month. Not too bad for such a powerful machine.
The base models are M1 Pro, only the third option for the 16" has the M1 Max.
14 inch base model but I upgraded the storage to 1TB SSD. I also added the 96 W charger as the cherry on top. 
Man that was annoying. I was in the moment the store opened but it repeatedly hung. Finally switched to the app and it was also hanging, but not as much, and ended up going from an October 25 date to November 10 while waiting for the stupid site to not be overloaded. You'd think after all of these years they would figure out how to load-balance their website.

You don't need the pro max chip, you won't even use the GPU, throwing your money away.
Ordered the 14-inch base model. Express delivery for Oct. 26. Give me that notch.
