UPS really dropped the ball this year. People seriously faced over 10-15 days of delays after the new MacBook Pro was shipped.
I’m tempted to cancel I’ve been so frustrated. AppleCare is ticking since it shipped and my money is in oblivion. Temped to pay half and get a base model in store
That should be worth a call to Apple to extend that. It isn't right that the time for AppleCare should start ticking for something that is not in your possession. In fact, anyone that orders their Mac with AppleCare should have their coverage extended if their Mac hasn't arrived yet, or have it not start until the Mac arrives. It isn't as if Apple doesn't know the customer's Mac hasn't arrived.
