It literally looked like an oversized white macbook air superdrive box, in fact I thought it was a macbook air drive until I was like why is it so big.

imagine this only with a computer and the size of the laptop boxes. I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

My iMac came in white, my macbook air came in black. There was a picture of another black box further up the page.

Are you sure you weren't seeing a white MacBook? The picture on the box does look kind of silver:

I think the newbie is having some fun at others expense. My wife's best friend is an assistant manager at the Fifth Ave store in NYC. They were just chatting on Facebook and she said there has been no boxes delivered and no word from CA about the new Macbooks. She would tell me if there was something to tell.

Sorry, I know this post is a bit behind.

Just because there's no black keyboard does not mean its fake. Really, if you look closely, the keyboard does not look like the current MBP keyboard. The keys actually look separated. Maybe they'll use the MacBook Air's keyboard in white.

So..the image has been removed from the T-Mobile website. Was it fake or was it the new one? Maybe it was real and Apple asked them to remove it.

Man, Sinisterdesign used to work for Apple in Cupertino... Don't mess with him :D

Does anyone think the new MacBooks could sport some design cues from the new silver and black Nano. I think it would look pretty cool. With black colored features here and there and a slightly curved body?
I do. I see a black display bezel and large swaths of black on the case. Kinda like the iMac. I also see more curves like the MacBook Air.

.chris, that was a joke (apparantly i forgot the :p smiley), but i really dont see how it was rude at all. Sorry if that somehow offended anyone, which i cant see how it would:confused:

If you read any of my other posts on this site youll see I'm rarely ever rude to anyone.

I know. :p

I dobut it will have the same box, yet alone same look

As someone who used to work at an Authorized Apple Reseller, yes, all Apple products come in plain brown boxes. Even iMacs.

Yep. also keep in mind the ipods come in clear plastic packaging. not "white"

Apple ha moved away from white kids...

I know I don't have any credibility but I was at the apple store today and they were pushing a cart into store at the Grove. At first I was looking at the printers and underneath they had largish white boxes. I'm 95% sure I saw the new macbook boxes, it didn't look to be tapered and its definitely aluminum. At first I thought they were macbook air superdrives but it definitely said macbook. I would have taken a picture but I didn't realize it until it was too late
Assuming this is real, it tells me that the MacBooks (as well as MacBook Pros) are likely on September 23. So what's coming (if any) on October 14? Something new? Tablet/mini-notebook?

Apple ha moved away from white kids...
…and towards a racially diverse group of kids, I see.

Maybe October 14 will not eventuate?

So now everyones looking at september 23rd. I really hope this is true :D
But wouldn't we of seen some more leaked photos by now, the only one we have really had is that one on this thread with the black bezel. Which Im not to keen on.

But saying that I didnt like the look of the leaked ipod nano 4G but when they released it I was like WOW:eek: thats HOT.

I trust apple will deliver something amazing.

I don´t know whether this has been posted or not, but

"Steve Jobs and Apple are staying pretty mum on the matter, as usual, but we just caught word that the new Apple MacBooks will not get their graphics from Intel anymore, opting instead for a chipset from NVIDIA. Most people would probably agree that getting NVIDIA graphics is a significant improvement over Intel integrated graphics, yes?

Set to be unveiled in the next few weeks, the new MacBooks will feature the new MCP7A-U graphics chipset from NVIDIA. This is a top class chipset and could easily fall in line with the GeForce 9xxx series. It will be the first mainstream uATX motherboard with DDR3-1333 support. They say that this is the fastest mGPU.

No, it's not quite the same as having a dedicated graphics card, but this embedded system sounds like it could be impressive with full HDMI support and low power consumption."

Which is pretty good news to me.
