No, actually I am in NY. But the flight I mentioned is scheduled to land in Indy. My fedex tracker still shows a Wed delivery. There could be hope for you though. Enjoy your new MB!

They will arrive on Wednesday. The route they take doesn't matter. They will be dispatched to local centers from the Fedex hub. If they arrive on Tuesday, they will be dispatched during the night for delivery on Wednesday.

I heard they hand them off to specialized Navy SEALS who personally swim them from Japan to the US.
 
Mine was also "last seen" in Sennan, Japan. I'm so excited for Wednesday!

I just got the notification that my HDMI multiport adapter just shipped, from Pennsylvania. The price was absurd, but the education discount more than offset the price, and the adapter has the exact functionality that I would be recreating with cheaper adapters anyways. Having it immediately, and seeing how the laptop performs when docked to my display, is well worth the money I would have saved from waiting for a cheaper adapter to show up. As a bonus, I didn't pay up for non-free shipping, but it's shipping out this afternoon and will arrive on the 15th! It doesn't have the same 10:30am promise, but hopefully it comes at the same time.

Anyone else have 3 straight days of status updates that say still in Shanghai? I know it'll get here on time, just seems odd they'd keep updating it when it hasn't moved

Yep.. Mine has been sitting in shanghai since saturday.. Every day the same update.. At local fedex facility - Shanghai..

Me too! I've been feeling ill today so I've just been hanging around the forums hoping for good news. Oddly I got a call on Saturday from Fedex saying my package would be held for me on Tuesday, but I think that was just a mistake.

In the mean time I've been trying to figure out the weird Fedex stuff again. This is my latest guess:

This is a flight from Kansai Intl (which I guess is in Sennan-Shi?) flying to Oakland for arrival later tonight. I'm in Los Angeles California so this would kind of make sense.
 
Yeah, it seems that all of the expedited delivery MacBook's left Kansai Intl earlier today (in the morning on 4/14 in Japan). Seems there are flights to Oakland, Indianapolis, and Memphis. These should all arrive in the next few hours at their destinations and then get sent out to the regional hubs. I wouldn't be surprised at all by some deliveries on 4/14, but my status remains 4/15.

when did your package showed 'in transit'? mine showed at 2:35am. and there was a flight from kansai to Indianapolis at 2:33am. guess mine should be on that flight. hope i'm wrong, coz I'm sacrament. oakland makes it possible for mine to be picked tomorrow.

but i still highly doubt they can make deliveries tomorrow. all flight should land around midnight. and custom will take couple hours so they probably won't be able to get on the truck tomorrow morning.
though personal pickup is still possible, if they allow that.

Um no - this is the first time there's ever been any difference between countries that launched simultaneously. My iPhone 6+ arrived Sept. 19 same as the US

definitely it's not importing to china, and doesn't feel like you can import to us while still in china. kinda confusing. if they don't have to go through custom, then it will be really fast, probably can even make delivery tomorrow if they want.
 
Yeah, could go either way. I've had apple products like phone go through easily, just a matter of scanning, and I have seen delays. Here are the next flights fedex has out, so if you see a departure scan you can probably match it up pretty closely. But if it takes time, will be on these flights tomorrow.

I really should have double dipped and order via apple as well as best buy, not thinking my 10% off was quite worth waiting the extra time.
 
You guys are idiots watching flights coming and going....oh wait, I'm one of you.

Update: Left Memphis at 3:46 heading for Hartford. I am going outside and look up and see if it passes overhead. Not really.

If it did cleared custom and made it on the flight does that mean we can expect it 4/14 delivery? (I hope so but don't think so....)
